This is great project with a lot potential for items beyond your broach ( which is quite attractive.) I especially loved your image of "required materials." you are clearly inventive and thorough! Hi Rudy, I am not sure what joist you are referring to. If you are referring to the end joists, they are shown in step 10 with the cut angles shown in step 9. If you are referring to the joists meeting in the center post, they are held down by the clamping screw and braced into a lattice with the cross members, as shown in step13.Regardless, if I don't quite get your question, please ask again.

Good instructable. We have a stair case I would like to light up pretty much as you have done. It is a real hazard at night. I actually count stairs to keep out of trouble. So a personal thanks for your effort

Hi, I like your instructable, both for the humour and the great explanations, but in a humorous way, can I ask why you didn't base your project on a simple 1mm to 1cm internal diameter plastic tube, tapped into the base of the 1.5 metre high tank and attached to the side of the tank? Steam punky I know, but..All in good fun, your instructable is really excellent

I am trying to nice and to be constructive, BUT, even your response is basically a jumble of unexplained acronyms In My world, few, if any of your acronyms are "standard." Perhaps you might consider communicating to those not in your world. 40 years in the electronic and computer world have allowed me to see a number of standard electronic terms, so I am not buying your argument, but what the heck, if your intended audience is fully conversant with your techie speech, who am I to complain? Just don't expect me, and other ill informed louts to be buy your product...1st rule of selling....little words for big pocket customers, techie speech may dazzle friends but doesn't put bread on the table.Hope my suggestion as such keeps from being labelled as an IIFOG,(acronym for Ill In...

Looks like an interesting instructable, BUT I can's and won't wade through this string of acronyms. I apologize for this negative comment but jeez looweez, please explain you acronyms as you use them.

This is a nice instructable and a wake up call to look at Tesla and simple coils for power transfer. Could you describe how you arrived at the coil sizes and number of windings.? It certainly looks like a better solution than slip rings. Thanks

What a great instructable! Well illustrated, well written, and one GIGANTIC effort on your part. I see in the comments that this is your first motor rewind, which serves to emphasize your courage. Lovely piece of work! I held my breath watching you clamp some of those triangular pieces together edge to edge, but it turned out very well. I also admired your band saw jig. A nice instructable, clean, well described excellent video and pictures.
