Thanks mate, and yes I've checked and changing to 28" is doable while keeping these brakes, now if I change to 29" I'll have to change the brakes to road bike crab brakes. Still don't know which I'm going to do.The problem with that method is that you won't have a specific pivot point and might end up miss-aligning the dropouts even more. Using the seat tube as a pivot always gives you a reference on where to move, seems crude but it's actually efficient. I'd use the method you suggested if I had a Jig, would be more precise and faster too.

Great job! I have an idea, instead of bolting the rig directly to the drone, why not making a dampener rig so you can absorb more vibrations from the flying and from the servo movement. Safe flying ;)

Very nice piece, well done! Getting a plunge line on a blade this thin is difficult and dangerous as it could compromise the blade itself if you remove too much meat, was a good call not to do it. You could go for a chainsaw blade, those are thick enough for you to create nice plunge lines and improve your skills in the process, also there's enough metal for plenty of blades.

Was curious about you question so i checked online for answers and i did find this video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLKN9JMfS-U , you can clearly hear the sound of the rollers there when using slicks, its a humming sound i don't think it will wake up your kids ;)

The rollers are fairly silent but the contact between the tires and the rollers is noisy, specially with off road tires. The sound is close to MTB tires on tarmac. Maybe with slick road tires could be more silent, like a humming sound. Still... don't know if it's silent enough for sleeping kids. could be.
