Building a Gypsy Wagon

Tiny House, Gypsy Wagon - You Can Build one too!
Ledge Style Gypsy Wagon
Nice unit, thanks for a good job. I'll be building one come spring and will rent it out to local forest fire fighters on our 40 acres. Will stain and varnish/oil purlins except for face that contacts roof plywood, also stain and varnish those pieces also before attaching permanently. The purlins are not going to be perfectly straight along the whole length, so a chalkline would not do. Instead, I will fasten plywood at 2 places with screws and hold down the rest with clamps or straps and mark along the inside along both sides of purlins, remove plywood and pre-drill holes in plywood from the bottom through the center of marked lines. Now all screws will be perfectly centered. May even cover purlin lines with tape in case I want to glue plywood to purlins for extra stiffness.
Great to see people going small and recycling and repuprosing with awesome craftsmanship, job well done.
