Fence Trellis Brackets
Miracle Powder: Peppers, Garlic, Salt, Acid, Smoke
Hmm...I'm wondering if maybe this is the answer to my "I don't much like Chaya" problem. I grew Chaya ("the spinach tree," Cnidoscolus acontifolius) this year, and it's a wonderful plant, very nutritious, and tastes good but, unlike spinach, it remains fibrous after cooking and I can't seem to get past that. I'll have to try it in this soup instead of spinach and see if it's better when it's blended in well with the other ingredients.

Oh, YES! Mary Holmes' art is exactly what I was thinking of! Thanks so much for all this. I'm getting really inspired now. So many possibilities!
This is really an awesome instructable. So much information, so much help, so much inspiration! Question: Can you use a hypertufa mixture to accomplish this project? If you wanted to make something just using uncut bottles (perhaps turned sideways, in a spokes-of-wheel shape), how would you seal up the bottle tops before placing in concrete?

FAILPROOF White Sandwich Bread (almost No-knead)
So, who is going to start selling these? I don't have what it takes to do this myself (bad arthritis), although you have done a great job of telling us how to do it. Also, I have a request: Can you please keep working on this idea but for one with the plastic extending up over the mask to serve as an eyeglass/eye shield as well?

You meant 12 blocks, right?I've been using these blocks for beds ever since I saw one made at Lowe's as a demo. They work great! The best part is that, if you change your mind about what you want, the pieces are reuseable. I haven't tried making a potato bed yet, but that's next on the list. Tip: When you buy the boards, have them cut them at the store. I think Lowe's will make up to five cuts for you free.
I was thinking this, too, and also mushroom substrate.
This is a very exciting instructable! It makes me wonder if more companies might not adopt paper pulp-based packaging for at least dry goods. I don't have a 3D printer, but there is no reason I can see why this technique could not be used with anything sturdy enough to use as a mold. I was glad to see your Workmate in the instructions, because I've got one of those, too, already!
Finally, finally, finally I understand! You explained the principle so clearly, and your diagram of the stick man and tree made it all come together for me. Thank you!

Could something like this work outdoors, like for garden art? What would have to be done to make it weather/UV light resistant?
Thank you! What a cool technique....

I've been trying to come up with a good way to disguise 5-gallon bucket planters, which sit on the ground. The faux stone panels is a great idea! I wouldn't, myself, go to all the trouble of building the steel frame to elevate and hold the weight of the soil-filled tubs, but I may try building a free-standing frame with outer "stone" finish to sit the bucket planters down into. Thanks very much for the idea!

I absolutely love your video! It's mesmerizing to watch. I'm just beginning to try to learn how to do a little woodworking to make garden structures, and the techniques you taught in this will come in quite handy! And it just goes to show you don't have to have expensive power equipment and hardware do do woodworking. Thank you!

Kudos to you on the 365-day photo project. I just got my first "real" camera (OM-D E-M10) and I'm still scared of it. I'll do well to do a 30-day photo project!
Hmmm...worth a try!
Thanks, ardrhi. I was just thinking of vacuuming the plastic shreds inside something that is then submerged in the water bath. But if it doesn't get hot enough, that answers the question! :)
What precise temperature is needed to melt the plastic? Would an immersion circulator, like is used for sous vide water-bath cooking, work or would it be too cool?
