    Hi Ira,i made the segway with 2x32 sabertooth and 500w motorsi'm still facing a strange issue here:if wheel are not engaged (no chain) so not much load, everythings is working fine.When i install the chains (and so engaging wheels), it often start running at 100% (first time was...panic) .At the beginning i thought something wrong with sabertooth controller.From the serial i get that is something wrong with the MPU6050.Below are some lines when everythings is fine and the last two lines are when it goes crazy.Any help or suggest will be much appreciate.Cables are shortened and twisted and also i moved the electronics away form motors.Thanks and Best regardsFabio

  • Rideable Segway Clone - Low Cost and Easy Build

    Hi Ira,finally i was able to make things working with the new setup. I had strange values from MPU and motor that often goes 100%.In the new setup i have 500W motors and a sabertooth 2x32. (see images)I modified the settings from 0x01 to 0x02 (as in my previous setup with 250w motors)I added a STEP DOWN from 24v to 12v circuit to power the Arduino, instead of using 5v from sabertooth.I twisted cables as you wrote several time :)Now it works! I just need to make it more responsive, which parameters do you think i should touch at the beginning?Attached some picturesThanks again for the great helpregardsFabio

    Hi Ihart,i made some modification to your original schema (bigger motor, Sabertooth 2x32, potentiometer, voltage and ampere monitoring) i would like to make a new schema , i tried several tools, but no one is beautiful like your schema......what tool had you used?
