Smartphone as WiFi headphone (for kodi)

happily, this error was not a deal breaker : ) i went ahead and it works anyway.

is there a typo in your code for step 4? i believe on line 19, as the error message suggests. I think you accidentally started the line with "device" when that was meant to stay in the comment line above. is that right? when i remove this so it starts with "pcm" like the rest, i get no more error message, and kodi starts up again."aplay -L | grep loop" does not say anything tough. i was expecting:loopoutloopinloopalso, i saw the ALSA device in Kodi before, but I can't see it anymore. Ive repeated all the steps twice now, and still not seeing it in Kodi. how can i get it back? i feel like i'm so close to making this work.

Now... what can be done about improving the audio quality?

i'm starting over from scratch now (fresh install of Kodibuntu), and after step one installing linphone, i get this error when i run linphone: ALSA lib conf.c:4694:(snd_config_expand) Unknown parameters 0ALSA lib control.c:953:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL default:0i'm going to forge ahead anyway, hoping this is ok.

❤️❤️❤️ this. thank you so much, you've accomplished what so many have been trying to for so long. i can't wait to get it working. i'm doing this on kodibuntu, and got as far as step 4, but when i reboot after saving the asound.conf file, kodi won't load anymore, and just defaults to the ubuntu desktop environment. upon removing the contents of the asound.conf file, kodi loads fine again. any ideas?i should note that when i do "aplay -L | grep loop", this is what i get...root@kodi-livingroom:/home/kodi# aplay -L | grep loopALSA lib conf.c:1686:(snd_config_load1) _toplevel_:19:17:Unexpected charALSA lib conf.c:3406:(config_file_open) /etc/asound.conf may be old or corrupted: consider to remove or fix itALSA lib conf.c:3328:(snd_config_hooks_call) function snd_config_hook_load re...
