Look for "barb connectors" or "barb tube fittings".
I'm quite satisfied with the results I'm getting so I stopped experimenting. I never got a buttery consistency. The way to get that is to confit the garlic (cooking in oil at low temperature) in the oven. I never tried the towel but it is true that leaving it longer in the cooker will increase the sweetness but at one point, it will dry out.
Sorry, no idea.
I'm just using a standard propane torch. Can't tell the exact temperature, but it doesn't change the color of the metal
I was using the same type of disposable propane cylinder. Heat slowly and steadily the metal plate. At one point, you will "smell" the paper starting to heat up and see a little bit of smoke. This is when you stop, and with practice, just a little bit before.
Works perfectly. Thanks.
How to Program an ATtiny 85 Digispark
This project was done using such a vacuum pump.
These valves are designed to be fully on or off. At least those I used and experimented with. On top of that, don't try to use some PWM to try to open them 50% for example. Won't work. Maybe a standard valve with a servo to control it, but not this kind of solenoid. Good luck. There's always a way!
I never tried to rehydrate them. However, I did pulverised them I a mixer and grate old hard ones into a powder that you can mix with hamburger meat and get something quite delicious. Maybe in a red wine sauce or in a mushroom risotto?
Love the project and enjoyed the video. I know this is not a coding Instructable but I think a lot of people would benefit from at least some comments in the code. I was mainly interested in the workings of the menus and rotary encoder and I would say it is not intuitive! Keep up with the nice projects!
I don't think you need any resistor. It is only needed if you have a very low resistance load. I'm quite sure your motor doesn't need a resistor in serie. I didn't use one on mine.
Max current should be around 1 amp max on average with peak current max 2. If your current is drawing more than that, your ic will burn. V=RI so R must minimally be equal to your voltage... just make sure the power rating of that resistor is good enough. By don't worry too much, and check the power rating of your motor and make sure it doesn't draw more than one amp.

I read this instructible earlier today. When I realized we were out of bread to eat with the Osso Buco my wife had prepared for tonight, I quickly suggested trying these puddings. We never had Yorkshire pudding before and never tried to make any, as we were told they can be difficult.Well, we pretty much nailed it on the first attempt. 10 min to prepare, 17 min to cook (should have waited 20...) and 5 min to eat. We will surely do this recipe again! Many thanks.
Perfect Yorkshire Puddings - Every Time
While I don't know for sure, the most likely reason is that your cooker is too advanced. It must have some kind of fan that criticaly reduces the amount of humidity in the cooker. You actually dehydrated the garlic while "cooking" it. Don't trash it. Grind it and and add the powdered garlic to your hamburger meat it should be fabulous. Keep me posted non the results!
I actually only tried this way. I only know people who tried this way. And traditionally, it is done this way. You'll have to try... but by experience, the skin protects the garlic against dehydration. I think you would end up with a very dry product. But maybe this could be a good thing?

That was today's project. I ordered the kit, everything went well with the built. A few comments :1- The "obsolete" technique works really well. In my case, I started to get suspicious after the 10th transducer with the correct polarity. Maybe it was the computers or the music making interferences with the arduino, but I ended up checking all the transducers with the obsolete technique and noticed quite a few errors!2- I use CA glue. Works well.3- Look a the picture of the first schematic and the picture on step 10. The relative position of the red and black wire is inverted. 4- It is really not obvious that you need a connection between D10 and D11. That is the one thing that prevented my success on the first try.I highly recommend this built. It does work very well. I have a f…

Good to know this is working now! I plan to revisit this project with an esp32.
I recently learned that hose threads could be of two types, one being tapered and not the other. I think your leak is coming from trying to mix the two.
I only tried the whole thing. A dehydrator wouldn't my first choice as the water content in the garlic is a very variable in the reaction.
There is no reason for the dimmer option not to work. However, making black garlic in your house will quickly give you the impression that you are living in a garlic clove, which may have an impact of your social life.

The power is coming from the IC. This is why you can attach a heatsink to it. Please refer to the ic datasheet form max power.
Ignition Coil High Voltage Display
I only used them as on/off, varying time to get a specific volume. I would suspect it could be controlled by pwm but you could run into torque issue and not being able to pump you fluid against gravity or if you have elevated resistance or high viscosity.

I had to test 200+ LEDs that arrived yesterday by mail... 10 minutes to make the circuit on a breadboard. The only changes I made was to use 2x 2n2222 NPN transistors and switching the 39 Ohm resistor for a 100 Ohm potentiometer for a finer current control. Worked great!
