  • Must say, Ok, you wanted to revise your Mortise & Tenoning Skills, But :-For a Stool to Stand on as well as Work from, you'r Design is seriously lacking in Lateral Bracing, That "Stretcher" just above the Base, will do little to stop the whole thing Collapsing Horizontally when an average weight Person (11 to 18 Stones) Stands on it and pushes either way from whatever they are working on if using at Right Angles to the Work, Also the Width/Length of the Feet, are far to Short for the Height, if using Parallel to the Work and Pushing, (Say a Drill or Screwdriver), !! Here's a couple of Pictures of Proper Hard Working, Stable Both Ways, Stools, No Gluing, No Tenoning, No Mortising, Just Two Sizes Of Timber & a Couple of Plywood/Blockboard Scraps, A Hand Saw, A Sliding Beve…
