Thank you very much, If I were to redesign it, I would most likely do it at Fusion360. In the tinkercad I basically made rough layers of the shape of a shell one on top of the other. I spent most of my time at meshmixer, trying to carve it into something uniform and hollow.

Hi AntonW16, sorry that I didn't mention the thick of flexible PVC in my instructable! It's about 1mm and 1.5mm thick, but there is a tolerance in the 3d print part that the PVC attached so something close to the numbers I told you will be ok!

Perhaps you could use scissors or for cutting through flat cardboard by hand, best tool to use is a utility knife! It is also a very good idea the one mentioned by the funtogether!
