45lb Takedown Recurve Bow From Scratch
This is a nice and easy way to make a fire starter! Nice easy to follow Instructable. And they look pretty cool too. Another way I've seen these made was with an old bullet casing. Definitely perfect for people who are into firearms.
Very fun little trick. How did you hide the weld between the welding step and final picture?
I'm relatively new to forging, but wouldn't it just be easier to melt down the electrodes and then forge the chunk of metal that you get from that? Good looking knife though!
I tried to make a prop bow out of pvc a while back, but as soon as I tried to do so, it broke in half. How did you get yours not to break?
