my onshape account username is greg_smith279. I've already cut the gears on my glowforge laser. I'm stuck trying to identify which gears are which since your drawing only gives diameters. Thank you for replying
Is your onshape drawing available?
My compliments on a wonderful job. I want to pay you a bigger compliment and build one for my grandson. I see a horizontal profile with the parts labeled A B C ... is there a perspective view or a legend which identifies which part comes from you 3,6 or 8 mm material? I'm planning to cut the parts on my glowforge laser, and am having to use sketchup to develop pdfs of the correct size. All the dxfs I imported from your files were scaled wrong for me. The month ring loaded at over 5300 mm. Sketchup allows me to scale the drawings down, and I'm assuming that ring should be 240 mm? That ratio would then apply to all your parts, and the problem is solved.I know I've asked a lot of questions, and I think it would be fair for you to be recompensed for your efforts.thanksGreg

very cool, is there a benefit to possibly drilling a hole in the end of your piston to hold a little more firecloth, and increasing the length of the piston to make up the compression loss?
very nicewell written
Thank you very muchYou just opened a window to a feature in Sketchup I've been looking forward to learning to use. And crafting maps fascinates me :)
