What is the red attachment on your rotary. Is it a guide or protection for the fingers. LOL, at first I thought it was something to make it like a hand held router. I've just about got all other projects out of the way so I can give this a go, can't wait! Thanks again for posting this.

OMG! I just realized this would also be great for a craft tool tote! I'm always having to go back and forth like you said, to get items needed for crafting projects. This will be my next project after I get all of my Christmas gift projects out of the way. I can't wait! Thanks a bunch for this!!!

I will have to remember the rubber band and the use of the drill clamping onto the raised stripped screw. Something I have had to use is a Reciprocating Saw when I need to separate the two objects. Mainly in demolition but have also used it on re purposing items and repairing.

I have learned to not assume anything. You are using a rotary tool to also do the etching? You did say in the hanging hole steps to use the rotary but no mention in the etching step. What bits do you use? How much pressure should you use?

Thank you!! I'm a beginner Illustrator user but I'll work at it till I get it. But then I just thought of something. You can take things like this to blue printers and such and they can print things for you that large. But I do want to give it a try myself first. Thanks again

Hey hboom I wonder if this would help attract carpenter bees and then maybe they won't drill into my good wood stuff?

I was so excited when I first saw this, thinking what a great gift for me to make for my step mom. That is till I saw what you had to use, equipment I don't have. Now I'm trying to think of a way to make something similar and just as beautiful with only hand held router, dremel tools, chisels, band and table saws. Sugestions anyone?

Great idea! I'll have to ask my son's brother-n-law who is a EMS here in Florida what they do. I went to your page to see if you have pictures of the remodel of the inside and I was so disappointed. Well, if your working on it I hope you take pictures along the way. You should add updates if you are.

OMG!!! Looking at your work on Instagram is just so amazing. LOL, at first, some of them reminded me of a science toy we purchased when my son was young, maybe around 1988 where you dropped pieces of different colored something or other in a liquid and they grew to different heights and widths and looked pretty much like some of your pieces but not as beautiful or permanent. Can't wait to try yours!

@MrHatken I Love this idea!!! Thank you very much for taking the time to show others how to make it. I don't really have a need for this but just wanted to let you know good job and thumbs down to those who feel they have to critique everyone's spelling and grammar. They forget that many of the entries are foreign to the English language, including me and I'm a 100% born american LOL! Some have to use a translator program and others have learned English on their own. I read your type-O of corp as crop and didn't even notice that it was a type-O. Maybe my brain was more polite than others. Keep on inventing MrHatken!

I am so sorry for your loss. 4 years ago I had to use the same brace to support my leg due to temporary nerve damage for about a year. I have no use for it and it's just sitting in the top of my closet. Due you know an organization or people who might have a need for it as your cousin did? I'd be happy to mail it to them.
I was going to ask the same thing peinkc. It's the same way it's done in Georgia cooked smokie, low and slow till it almost falls off the bone.
