You could hot glue PVC pipe to bottom of bowel (or duck tape it but I think hot glue better). Just spray the same oil or release agent on the PVC pipe (which needs to be taller than the bowl). There is always a masonary drill bit but that is messy & takes a while.
Velcro could be used instead of sewing them in....easy open for removal for washing. And for those that don't sew use fabric glue to glue the velcro on.
There is also small, round elastic for jewelry & all kinds of great colors that could be used instead of rubber bands. But James14th's idea is great too!
I like it a lot, very original. Thanks!
I find that orange spray (you can get a gallon of it at many dollar stores...for a dollar even lol) will remove most greasy substances. It is non-toxic & i use it to clean walls, remove tea & coffee stains from cups, remove stains from walls & even pre-spot clothes with it. But it is GREAT on greasy things like stoves, pots, sinks etc. Good luck.
It also works great on nail polish so the tops son't get stuck. And it great when used to put a stubborn screw into something (wood or metal) & makes getting stubborn nuts on & off of bolts easier too.
