Gelcasting is actually a very well recognized course of action for ceramics manufacturing which lately is proved to be successful for tender ferrites too. This strategy is particularly intriguing for ability electronics application in which the magnetic elements (e.g. transformers and inductors) are 3 dimensionally integrated on the power module substrate. This paper proposes a gelcasting procedure tailored to really make it more effective for 3D heterogeneous integration.
