I don't think it can. But here's my knowledge on garage door openers light system. They come on when the light sensor (or laser) is tripped. So to turn them on remotely, you'd have to trip them off somehow. You garage button isn't designed to do this though, but there are other methods to accomplish this. Usually, just opening or closing the garage turns on the lights
