What size vacuum cleaner do you have? Horsepower-wise.

Would you say the stencil is reusable if it's made of this material?

There's definitely an adjustment to be made. I just measured at my 12th fret and I've got about 1/4" clearance. I did just put on some flatwounds, which have a greater circumference, but I definitely have to do more work with my left hand when playing fretless. But I believe that's the case with any electric fretless, even the ones that come that way from the factory. I haven't adjusted my tension rod at all, though I probably need to.I'm not a luthier by any stretch, but I imagine if you adjust the saddle heights that will help. You might have to also adjust your pickup height, if you're lowering your strings. I wouldn't mess with the nut, unless it's extreme, but between the truss rod and the saddle height, you have a lot of flexibility.
