I thought of adding the receiver built-in, but again , some sort of smartphone app would be required to connect the collected data to the kind of device to be operated etc. I didn't have the time to create and program a wifi app as I had limited time to make and document the project.

I am really sorry , I couldn't completely understand the language you used . From what I understood , you might be using the wrong board in Arduino IDE. Make sure you use " Generic esp8266 board " and also make sure all the libraries I have mentioned in the tutorial is installed .

It is possible but It's not at all easy to get this to work with Google . 90 % of the code will have to be changed. And there are many limitations as well. For this to work with Google , you'll need 3rd party apps or websites like blynk app or IFTTT, these can cause latency after giving voice commands. Blynk app devices are limited unless you buy their premium version. Second issue is , it's not possible to create and edit automation procedures as easily as using the Alexa app. You will most probably have to include it in the written code and have to rewrite and reprogramming the whole device each time you want to edit something in the procedures .

This device needs a wifi connection to work . Arduino doesn't have builtin wifi connectivity . So even if you use an Arduino to build this project, you'll still need an esp 01 module to give wifi capabilities to the Arduino.

In step 12 , the explanation is given on how to collect the IR signal codes of the appliances you want to automate. Basically you point the actual remote of the appliance at an IR detector connected to a node mcu running a code (code attached to that step ) that displays the IR signal codes on the serial monitor as you press each button on the actual appliance remote.

yes you can. Also get longer belts and a bigger build plate . you have to set the new axis lengths in the laser grbl software.

But now you can get better pre assembled 3D printers like the ender 3 pro etc for the same price from AliExpress. $35 is the price including the printing materials. The printing material (In this case PLA) is very cheap in general . In india it costs ₹1000/kg ( $13/kg) . And for this speaker you'll just need around 200-250 grams of material. And if you are really a person interested in designing and building on your own projects, getting a 3D printer will really change your life like it did for me . I spent around ₹2900, that's about 35$. If was pretty cheap

Sorry for the mistake , I'll correct the link . I didn't face any problems with the bluetooth resetting . There was a slight disruption in the sound at full volume. It was happening when the bass hits due to insufficient power . Adding bigger capacitors really reduced this problem

If you are talking about the bore of the pulley I am using , I am using a pulley with 5mm bore . The shaft if the motor I am using is 5mm so ot was a perfect fit .

Instead of directly running the code which I have uploaded , copy the contents of the code I uploaded, paste it in a new sketch in Arduino ide and try compiling it . Make sure the servo library already exists in your Arduino libraries. Make sure the board selected is Arduino nano . The code for the penmodule is very simple . Incase nothing works you can make the code your self, it's that simple . Just make a code to turn a sevo connected to the pin D3 to a certain angle when the pin D10 is high and return the servo to its initial position when pin D10 is low

Thanks for the tip, I was actually planning to coat the curved surface of the wheel with a thin layer of rubber-based adhesive so that when it dries it gives grip. This also makes sure that the diameter of the wheel doesn't change much.

I will be posting an instructable on the laser engraver as soon as possible .In short, it's a completely custom designed and 3d printed laser engraver with a work area of 160x190 mm . It has a magnetic modular laser which can be easily detached and replaced with other tool modules like a pen or marker if you want to draw a design on paper . The connection between the laser engraver and computer is made wireless using Bluetooth . The most interesting thing about my engraver is that it can run on a 5 volts 2 amp power supply (ie. a phone charger ) even when the laser is at full power .

I just swapped one of the tweeters with a piezoelectric tweeter . The other one is the same as in the supply list . I have mentioned why I did this in the introduction and also among one of the comments .The different tweeter I used is just a low cost automobile tweeter which is awailable almost in any automobile accessories shop . So you won't have any trouble finding those Thankyou:)

Not sure about the current drawn .But I am getting 4 to 6 hours of play time depending upon the type of music and volume.

Thanks I am from India , so I guess the parts would get really expensive once the shipping charges are added if I order stuff through parts expressAnd yup , first I used 2 magnetic tweeters , but I was not satisfied.So before finally closing everything up ,I just swapped one of the magnetic tweeter with a piezoelectric one . And There was a huge difference . Usually magnetic tweeters are the best , but I don't know what happened in this case , I guess the ones I had was not of good quality.

The boost converter works on switching principle. So the output actually switches really rapidly , so a capacitor is added to supply energy during this "off" period . They have already provided a small SMD capacitor on the boost module , but is is always a good practice to add an external one with heavy loads The crossover seperates the amplifier output into high and low frequency channels . Which means it has 1 input and 2 outputs . One of the outputs (high frequency) goes to the tweeters and the other (low frequency) goes to the woofers . You could damage the tweeters if the output from the amplifier is directly connected to the tweeters without a crossover or a filter capacitor in between .

Sorry , but that won't work .You can step up the voltage of the battery from 3.7 volt to 12 volt , but the current drawn from the battery is going to be soo High that it could overload and could even damage the batteries .

This female Jack is designed in such a way that it cuts off the connection between the audio decoder and amplifier and creates a new connection between the aux cable and amplifier when ever an auxiliary cable is plugged into the female Jack

I don't have much experience with plexy glass cylinder , but once I made a speaker using pringles can with 3" drivers on both sides , but I faced a problem !, As the can was too thin , it resonated with the speakers reducing the overall sound quality of the system. So I would prefer a thick plexy glass tube which will stay rigid and not resonate with the speakers, I am not sure but i think it's thickness should be more than 6 mm
