Wooden Pirate Ship Playhouse
It took roughly 2 years to build, on weekends in the Spring, because of the expense and lack of time-off, but the end product is worth it. Everyone that sees it, raves. It pairs well with our Pirate themed Tiki bar.
It's still, like everything else, a work in progress, but I created the base pretty much identically, but using slats from old pallets, rather than new wood. And I wanted a slight overhang for the bar top, so folks weren't banging their knees. I put it under an existing overhang, so the roof was already in place. Just need to work on embedding gold doubloons, and beer-bottle tops, encased in epoxy resin.
