Hi bbqandbeer - thanks for the feedback, I didn't intend for it to seem that way! I have edited to leave just one link to my site.

My dad has a doxie and uses one of those sanding-type tools also! Works great for his dog!

View Instructable »Thank you! I haven't baked them in a long time, but you definitely can. I would spray or brush a small amount of oil on the outside, then bake at 375F for 12 to 15 minutes. Check them, then bake longer if needed until they are browned.

Definitely not for pizza :) They can also be used for crafts for thin materials. You could cut fringe on cloth or use for extra detail on paper snowflakes. Other folding paper crafts too, like when you cut a paper heart or square by folding a piece of paper in half first.

I agree! I've heard you can do this with celery and some types of lettuce as well, but haven't tried those.
Good point! I will have to try that when I have more than I can use!
I put a link to the scissors in the Instructable. They're called Culinary Multipurpose 5-blade Herb Scissors Stainless Steel Blades.

Yes, you can cut closer to the root end. I just try to make sure that there is enough weight to stay upright in the water and to have some of the white portion above the water line.
I went through the same thing and switching the water out does the trick
They grow great in soil too, just easier in water! I love those scissors, makes it so easy to cut up green onions and herbs!

- rootfamilyreview commented on rootfamilyreview's instructable Video- DIY Gel Manicure & How to Make Them Last
My nails grow fast so I do the gel manicure every 2 weeks. I have a friend that can stretch it to 3 weeks. I have tried filling them (painting over the new growth), but it takes some effort to make it look nice. I use an emery board to file the edge nearest the cuticle first. It's almost as easy to just redo them entirely.

I always have Gruyere on hand too, but my kids now prefer my "easy method" :) Great tip on the stirring, I'll try that next time, thanks!

Definitely! I've tried dozens of store-bought chicken broth/stock, but nothing comes even close to this!
Thank you! I love doing anything that can keep my dad engaged. Bonus that he can help with something like cooking that I need to do anyway! I can tell that he feels like he's really helping out.
