    FRANKLIN LIBRARY CHAIR

Love the design except the inlay. Makes it look like a Jester owns it! Other than that it's cool!

    DIY Adjustable Bed

So you didn't really build it from scratch. You used an existing bed frame and just modified it to accept a larger mattress. Cool idea and a great way to recycle! I see these old beds thrown out to salvage all the time!

  • D4E1 - Artmakers : Marble Painter 1.3

Very unique idea, not an overly complicated design. Slightly larger frame bike may make it a bit more comfortable for an adult rider, this one is a good kid size. Also a chain guard would be better. But it all comes down to the final product/Art piece....what I saw here was just a mess, no design could be seen. Just random splatters making no sense, which is something anyone could do with having to build an elaborate setup like this. When I first saw the idea my mind went to spinart from my childhood. Maybe there is a way to do that with this setup with modifications.

  • How to Make a 3D Printed Miter Guide With Fusion360

This is cool, it really is, But if I needed a miter box I can go to Walmart and purchase one cheaper than the materials and time it took to make this one. Again, its cool and I am fascinated with 3D printing. I just think it should be used to print things that can be printed to reduce the cost of an object, such as prosthetic's for children. I can get this for less than 5 bucks and I'm not trying to do the math so to speak on a CAD program. Sorry!

  • Making a Powerful Generator From a Blender Motor DIY

I'm curious, You have on the instructable that you are using a laptop charger as well, is this plugged into an electrical outlet? Doesn't that defeat the purpose? I've seen similar setups were a motor from a treadmill or washing machine is used in conjunction with a wind turbine to generate electricity to charge a car battery, but you need consistent wind in order for this to be functional. I can't see how spinning the shaft with a makeshift pull cord is beneficial. Even if you had a crank this setup would not be practical. And that's quite a large motor for it to be a blender motor, is it from a commercial blender or a really old blender? The one in mine is small enough to fit in my hand!

  • This Is How I Made Iron Man Arc Reactor

Not bad for a quick Halloween costume piece. A little crude, would have been nice if the whole thing lit up instead of just one strip down the middle. I made one for a little kid once in the hospital. I used a dollar store tap light, taped it up and spray painted the body silver and used a paint marker to draw the design onto the "lens". I drilled 2 small holes in it and put small twine thru it so it would hang around his neck under his Iron man shirt. He loved it! biggest cost was the batteries, changed out the cheap ones from the dollar store so it would last longer.

    DIY Motorized Fidget Spinner!

Glad to hear its light but saying it's "safe-ish" doesn't make me think its any less dangerous to use. As for the "intensified high speed gyroscopic feel" being more satisfying than a regular spinner, is that your opinion or fact? The object of a Fidgit spinner is just that, an object someone fidgits with, meaning using not only their hands but fingers as well! If it is battery powered and spins on its own, then much of that has been taken away from the user that was looking for something to occupy their time and digits! Nice design though. Just would be more for what it is defined for if there was no motor!

    DIY Motorized Fidget Spinner!

Doesn't having it motorized defeat the purpose? It is supposed to a "Fidgit" spinner..implying someone that "fidgits" would use this to occupy their time and hands! And at 3000+ rpms I would be afraid it might injure someones hand!

    Make PVC Look Like Wood

Harbor Freight carries this type of rasp and others. I bought a set of files for both metal and wood that comes with a removable handle for Less than $10. I remember the wood grain tool once used to simulate wood grain with paint. It was simple to use but you had to develop your technique with practice.

I guess I'll ask the question everyone else seems to be avoiding....WHY??? Why make it out of a bike tire?

    DIY Air Conditioner

Nice video but a 2 degree drop isn't much for all the trouble and expense. I bought a $15 box fan from my local store and place it in one of my windows and then opened another window in my house and could feel a drop in temp within 10 minutes. You can play with it and see which way works best for you, either blowing in or blowing out. It works on the same principle as the whole house fans they seem not to use anymore.

    KOZMO - cool, small sportscar

I've seen this up here before..It is a cool car but this is you design and the car is built for you, so why should everyone else provide you funding? Finish the car with your own money! If you can't...then it's too expensive to build for sale to the public! Nice looking though! Hope you finish it!
