If I end up remixing or modifying the design I'll post a link so you can look at it.

I recently updated a macbook from even earlier. My macbook was one of the last models to use a certain CPU, which made it extremely difficult to install linux on it. I ended up installing Debian alongside Mac OS. Since you have a much newer model than mine was, it should be much easier for you. Let me know if you want more details about mu experience installing Debian Linux on my old macbook.

Thanks! However I don't like the external power bank setup; it would be so much easier to just wire it to the printers power supply. But that is easily fixed.

Wow, thanks! That would make my modeling life a whole lot easier! I didn't even know there was an OFFSET command (I have just done it manually, which is annoying)!

The only problem with this is that there are no modeled tolerances so if you print this you might not be able to fit the pieces together without a lot of sanding.

"Getting a chance to submit it to not just one but two separate contest was surely a good motivation, too..." I didn't know you were allowed to do this? Is that a special exception for the First Time Author contest???

Have you tested, like, 300 different people already to see how fast they can make them?

Why don't you look up how a relay works and then you might understand. J1 is the gates of the relay and J2 is for the power and signal.

cah6, you REALLY need to add a disclaimer that says you are not responsible for people electrocuting their skulls with this device. Like this:http://openeeg.sourceforge.net/doc/WARNING.htmlThanks for the awesome instructable anyway! This would be really cool to build.
