I really like this idea. It's refreshingly simple and unique. It seems that you could make it even more challenging by trimming the transparency squares in to different sizes and shapes after drawing the image on them. That way, you couldn't line up the outer edges to determine the correct placement, and the stacking order would be more of a factor, as well. Thanks for sharing this clever technique. You've got a vote from me in the puzzle contest.
Hah, 50 blades will last you a long time! That's a good idea about adding the foam. It would also help when covering the sharp edges. But yes, simple FTW. I don't want to spend more time making the tool than I do using it, when there's an easy solution that works perfectly. Thanks for the comment!
