Have you determined what is the longest exposure you can make with this? If you use a Polemaster you might get even longer. Looks great!

Someone has left a note on the Tinkercad site saying a gear is missing. Have you corrected the error? Looks like a fun project, I'll try this on my cnc. Thanks!

your stepper motors may be wired incorrectly. The driver has a step and dir input on the pcb. Is there a way to change the code for that?

I'm wondering how sensitive this is? In a quiet environment(forest), could it hear someone calling from say... 100 meters? I'm deaf and need this!

Not a Theremin by a long shot. This is a digital synthesizer, uses completely different techniques both in construction AND performance. give the guy credit for making a fantastic music instrument interface. Well done, not the least on the instructable!

Sometimes people have a hard time with these small motors lifting a camera with large lens. I have turned my mount around, so that the motor is letting the mount "close" , with the hinge mounted on the right edge. That means the motor is slowing a falling weight instead of trying to lift it. It works better for me.
View Instructable »Neat image. To keep your lasers warm (any batteries, for that matter) I use small dry chemical handwarmers attatched with rubber bands. They are cheap and harmless. They keep the dew off my lenses (which later turns to ice in my northern climate).
- stringstretcher commented on evanandkatelyn's instructable How to Patch Large Holes in DrywallView Instructable »
It is probably several magnitudes easier to cut the plug square than to try and match your plug to a complex curve. Besides that, your hole, if broken will have rough and broken edges that will make it nigh impossible to fit *exactly*, as one can do with the method presented in this instructable. Thumbs up!

In the old days... we used hypersensitized film and Schmitt Cameras to take the best deep sky astrophotographs. The telescope's design was very similar to this idea, a Newtonian without a diagonal (albeit with a corrector). Although your images may look crude they do show an interesting approach to the instruments we use today. Maybe a commercial variant that uses a high quality CCD in this configuration should be introduced. Is there really any need for that secondary mirror today? Hmmm... I really like this.

Those inlines (rollerblades) bearings are usually pretty worn, I have bought kiddie skateboards at Toys-r-us for very little money and gotten brand new bearings. I built my cnc robot out of these :) Can someone convert the 123dx files into DXF? I can't open them and the stl files are difficult for me to mod into 2d for cutting. I have a stack of acrylic sheets waiting to be made into these.
