Hi Guys,Thanks for the really clear explanations.In short, my "7W" panel is too weak to power my water pump because of the pump drawing too much current when it starts...Just for completeness, I'll measure the output current of my PV panel when loading it with a 10ohm 10W resistor.I'll also do the same for the water pump, measuring the current drawn at start when powered with a 12V 2A DC power supply.So I guess if I was using a 12V 20W PV panel, would it work?
