Exactly. The DSP really lets you fine tune, and protects all aspects of the system.
It is a mini digital sound processor. It used in car audio applications and takes the sound from the head unit or source and processes them before going to the amps. This allows you to fine tune the audio going to each speaker and make it the best quality possible.

Sure! Are you asking about the amplifier/Subwoofer wiring, or the entire system? If the entire system it may be beneficial for me to break that into chunks. If just the amplifier/Subwoofer then I can manage that into one post!
Hello! Thanks! The shape of the enclosure does not affect the sound quality. If it does it is so minimal it is nonexistent. However, this is a sealed box. With a ported box, the shape will be just a little more important but only with the internal port shape. A lot of sharp corners inside can cause port noise. So try to use more rounded corners internally and the sound will travel more smoothly eliminating port noise. But as a rule, it is not imperitive to use a specific shape as it does not affect the quality! As long as the internal air space is what the sub needs, then it will be just fine.

My boxes are built based on being tuned to a specific woofer for optimum performance. This particular one has a shallow mount 10" due to the tight space we had to work with. Each system I build is different based on the woofer. So this exact enclosure will tolerate this particular 10. However, I have made systems from the shallow mount 10, all the way to the big boy 18" woofers. :)

No there is angle iron clips I made to fasten all 4x4's together. The flat iron on the tailgate is just to fasten the gate to the 4x4's. :)
Thanks! Took 3 of each!
Oh and at 10' long
Yes logo painting was pretty tough. I used duct tape to mask it off roughly then I used a razor blade to carefully trim. It took a WHILE. Still wasn't perfect but works with the distressed look of the gate. And the way mine is built is the actual sitting part is a bit deeper than normal so when you sit you actually lean back some before you hit it. So all in all there is a slight angle to it. Thanks for your comment and best of luck on yours! Please share when you do it!
That is awesome! Something I may try in the future.
With ya! I'm more of a chevy guy myself but when it's free it's free!
