A vegan taxidermy! I like it :)

Thank you for you advice. I was thinking about painting the inside of the form. These ideas are also very clever.
A main problem is not to hold the weight of a bike. It shouldn't move around. A single block weights around 5kg and it's heavy enough so it doesn't move that easily.
View Instructable »I forgot to mention it. I will update that. Thank you for pointing it!Answering: concrete doesn't "dry" but "hydrate". Therefore I wrapped the mold inside a bag to keep the humidity at proper level. If the concrete dries too fast it may build cracks. I kept the molded block inside a bag for first 24h. Then on the surface hydration was done to the point when the surface was hard. But this step is not needed if the humidity level around is "normal". When I was preparing mold for blocks it was very hot so I was afraid that drying is going to be too fast.

Thank you for your advice, but I see you've taken it personally. But I think most of Instructables here use tools and materials inapropriate without following 100% safety rules. I think everybody expects a common sense from everybody who want to do the same. Do you think all creators here are wood working professionals, electrictians, plumbers, etc all at once? You should put such safety comments under (almost) every Instructable here!As I said - thank you for your advice. I will add a point to not sand oil paint. For such a small project, I think even if I eat all the sanded paint - nothing will happen. What you have in mind is a long term exposure for Cadmium and other chemicals. People shouldn't work in dust anyway. If somebody doesn't understand it, then hmm, a common sense should come t…

Thank you for an advice. How do you know it was an industrial paint with led? It looks like some consuner paint a previous owner bought in some shop. I can't believe it contains led (is it alllwed in Europe).I was wearing an anti dust mask all the time (I mention it in a description).

Is it legal? I know some Lego patents have already expired. This means it's ok to build bricks which are compatible with Lego. But I don't think putting a Lego logo on the bricks is legal.

This was my 2nd one with 2 holes so it doesn't flip so easy.

I love turtles and this coconut shell was on my todo list. I still need to drill a hole and put a kind of yarn but the result is better than I expected!

Absolutely amazing project!Have You tried to rotate an image 90 deg and (both, in Arduino and on a plot) and execute plotting again? It could (theoretically) add vertical lines to an image the same way as horizontal lines. Maybe the "quality" will increase?
