Nutella Popsicle Recipe
Intro: Nutella Popsicle Recipe
These Nutella popsicles are sure to be a hit with any Nutella lover in your life! Creamy Nutella goodness on a stick, yum. :D
And the best part? You only need three ingredients!
STEP 1: Ingredients + Tools
- 2 cups cool whip
- 6 tablespoons nutella
- 1 cup milk
Aaaaand that's it. Feel free to add more Nutella if you want, though I think six tablespoons is pretty dang perfect.
You'll also want a popsicle mold - I'm using this one. This recipe will fill that mold pretty much perfectly - with a teeny bit left over to drink. ;)
EDIT: Many of you have asked about subbing out the Cool Whip - if you don't want to use it, simply whip one cup of whipping cream with a little powdered sugar to taste and use that. The texture will end up a little different but I know it'll still taste good.
BUT DANGIT LIVE A LITTLE AND EAT THE COOL WHIP IT IS DELICIOUS
This ain't supposed to be an everyday food, you know? ;)
STEP 2: Measure and Mix
I suggest doing this in a large measuring cup since it will make pouring easier.
Measure all the ingredients out and whisk well to combine - try to get all the clumps out for best results! Make sure to use a spatula to scrape all the Nutella off the sides and bottom to get it incorporated.
Taste this mix to determine whether you need more Nutella or not. :)
STEP 3: Pour, Freeze and Enjoy!
Pour into your popsicle molds and freeze for at least six hours or overnight. Overnight seems to be best for these because they're pretty soft.
Once they're done, run a bit of hot water over the mold to release them - it doesn't take much! They melt fairly fast so go easy on them. :D

This looks amazing! I love a good creamy Popsicle every now and then!
And I don't really prefer nutella, I'm sure you could use some kind of cocoa or caramel instead! ;)

i have heard that cool-whip is the same as whipping cream, am i right?

It's similar, but chemically stabilized. Cool Whip doesn't fall as easy and it's much sweeter, but you can duplicate it with whipping cream and some powdered sugar. :)

I did also read somewhere that a guy from Scotland used something called Dream Whip, a power located with the jelly, he mixed it with milk, a few teaspoons of powered sugar and a very slight drizzle of vanilla. He said it came out almost exactly like Cool Whip.

Is it bad that I drink the stuff before bothering to freeze it?

Looks awesome. Would that work with whip cream instead of cool whip?

Hi,jessyratfink.Any advice about replacing the Cool Whip with another product? If using whipping cream, should it be added already whipped or just out the can? Thanks, I'm eager to try it!

Nice idea. I have to question the use of cool whip VS whipping cream. I'd rather use whipping cream instead. Cool whip is just a bunch of chemicals. Nutella is a favorite of mine. I've been hooked on Talenti Hazelnut chocolate chip gelato lately. I've been working on a recipe to make my own.
