Introduction: "obsolete Technology" Lamp

About: Freelance designer in the making - Nacimos para cambiar el mundo.

This Is a lamp I'm making, originally inspired by an instructable that I can't find right now (edit: found it: https://www.instructables.com/id/Recycle-Old-Light-Bulbs). What I first intended, was to make the same thing only with light. but then, Inspiration stroke me when I tried filling it with water. I decided to make it like an aquarium, only that instead of sand and rocks, there would be pcb's, screws and other electronic parts.

It's looking quite good!

Also, I wanna sell it once I finish, as I'm trying to follow my dreams and become a "freelance designer" ( I already quit my job! I got a month left) do you think I can make it?

here's how I made it:

parts:

- Cylindrical vase
- LED strip
- Some wire
- 12 VCC power supply
- Old incandescent light bulbs
- old/broken/unusable pcb's
- small screws
- various unusable electronic parts
- one or two CD's

What I did:

First I glued the vidicon on the bottom of the base.

I placed all the little pcb's, taking care to place them circuit-side up.

then I filled the vase with water. then I sprinkled the little screws and various parts.

after that, I put in all the light bulbs. I had to tape the CD to keep them down.

you can put the lights any way you like. That's your call.

It's still in progress, so I'll post a full instructable when it's done.
