Introduction: Origami Star Box - One Piece of Paper!
in this instructable, I'll teach you how to make a star box from one piece of paper. The star has 4 points. It's a good thing to hold candy in, if your box is big enough.
Step 1: Fold
first, the paper has to be a dimond. fold the bottom corner to the top, unfold, then the left to right, and unfold. flip the paper over.
Step 2: Fold More
now the paper has to be square. fold the left side to the right, unfold, then top to bottom, and unfold.
flip.
Step 3: Fold Fold Fold...
this part is hard to explan. look at the pictures carefully.
the shape is dimond (again). fold the bottom right to the top left, then unfold only until you meet a line do the same with the other side, than squash. sorry, i couldn' t really explain this well. the part that can open is the top (last picture).
Step 4: OMG How Long Is This! How May Steps Is There!
fold the right side over, then the left. Do the same with the other side. flaten the two flaps.so the same with the other side.
Step 5: Fold EVEN MORE
fold the left top flap to the right. do the same with the other side.
Step 6: MORE Folding...
fold like you did in step 4 for both sides sorry for not having pictures. i have a camera without a veiw finder or a screen. the pictures missed the paper.
Step 7: Folding...
fold the bottom up. unfold. fold the top point down. DON'T unfold. do the same with the other side.
Step 8: Almost Done...
fold the left to the right. do this to the other side.
Step 9: Done Folding!
fold top points down on both sides.
Step 10: Opening
open the top. push against the fold you made in step 7. DONE!

Again, alot of my points from your other instructable apply here. There is no where near enough description to follow this. I can see the entire project is taken from a book, it might be drawing some of the instructional pictures, or make some diagrams yourself.

I know how to fold these, so would have no problems visualizing the steps; however the pictures are way too dark to illustrate the folds to anyone not already familiar with this project. You may want to take some more, using a flash (and background lighting), or else you could search online for another step by step illustration from which you can 'borrow' the images.

I used to make millions of these :) it has 8 points if you look at the corners of the box itself from above :-)
