Intro: Paper Rocket

you might ask, "What's The point?" The point is that its cool and easy =)

STEP 1: What You Need...

you'll need
a piece of paper
a pen (optional)

STEP 2: Lets Get Folding

ok easy step, fold in half

STEP 3: Collapse

just follow the pictures and you'll be fine

1.take folded side and fold it down.
2.the opposite side fold.
3.follow creases on the bottem.Then press the top ones to meet the other ones, it should look like mine.
4.Follow 1 -3 on this page

STEP 4: Almost Done =D

1.now fold the bottem up. Unfold
2.There is 2 parts on the side (not the triangles) fold them in.
3.the top triangle, fold the fins down.
4.The fins tuck into the bottem triangle (that should be folded).

STEP 5: Yay Ur Done!

now that your done, you can decorate it, draw, and color it =) ByE-bYe

tis is lame. i could make a better one
step 4 is confusing what are the 2 "things" on the sides ?????
i dont know how many people love to do origami but do not know what to call a waterbomb base. as in step two.
I've made these before. Instead of just folding the paper in half, I fold the paper in half then cut along the crease, then use that. 1 Peice of paper = 2 rockets! I also flip the rocket over, fold the top edges down to make a larger point, and get a second rocket, and tuck it under the flaps I made. That makes a double jet :)
There's a whole book on Origami Rockets

It's sorta interesting. As the reviews at amazon say, most of the book is variations on a single design for an origami spaceship. On the other hand, the whole idea of exploring variations of a particular design is interesting in its own right...
