Photoshop: Galaxy Effect

This is a very easy photoshop tutorial for even the most novice artist.
this is just the steps in dot points, sorry if you like reading lots :(

Step 1: Clouds

FILTER> RENDER> CLOUDS
FILTER> DISTORT> SHEAR
DUPLICATE LAYER

Step 2: Plastic Wrap

FILTER> ARTISTIC> PLASTIC WRAP
SOFT LIGHT
DUPLICATE LAYER

Step 3: Chrome

FILTER> SKETCH >CHROME

Step 4: Finishing

HUE/SATURATION (cTRL + U)
- this will bring color, lightnes and saturation of color in to the picture, fiddle with the colors until you are happy

OVER LAY (chrome layer)
SOFTLIGHT (plastic wrap layer)

Can you do a spiral-galaxy? That would really fit as image #1.

ya, can do a fair bit in photoshop, including make money doing site banners.

and the hue/saturation will be fixed or explained.

as for the spiral picture it has been added.

I know that you probably wont care but with your picture i would recommend less of a twirl and pinch it to give it some depth. also maybe crop the picture a bit
