Intro: Plasmaspy's Knex Compound Bow

heres my compound bow! its very sturdy and fun to play with!
building is pretty simple just stare at the pictures, most of its completely symmetrical anyway. =]

STEP 1: Stock

this is the stock or handle of the bow. most of it is symmetrical.

STEP 2: Limb Connecters

the parts that connect the limbs to the stock. the most important part.

STEP 3: Limbs

the limbs of the bow. i would recommed either using all grey rods for more power. dont mix black rods with grey rods cos it will make it deform.

STEP 4: Limb Wheels

the pulley system wheels at the end of the limbs.

STEP 5: Arrow Guide

the arrow guide and string separater. i would recommend using wooden kebab sticks for the arrows instead of grey/black rods.

STEP 6: The Bow String

this part will tell you about the bow string. have alook back at the arrow guide pictures to see the positioning of the string on the the arrow guide.

Dude I am SICK of this bow. It is very good to make it but the only prob with it is the range:| I think u should extend the white connector part for its shooting range bro !

i built it today added a pin sight shoots amazingly far i used wood dowels

i built this and modded it to have more strength on the arms of the bow and it works pretty well the only problem is the bands sometimes move out of center causing an innacurate shot. by the way i also removed the column of white connectors and so now i fire sharpened dowel rods out of it although its not very accurate like that but still very powerful it makes big dents in my back fence wen fired from about 15 feet away
