Intro: Religion Around the World

this is a model that shows children that there are different  religions you can make this yourself  or with children as it is easy to make and will not cost anything 

STEP 1: What You Need

you need;
a medium sized ball  painted to look like the earth
tape or glue
2 cardboard strips
string 
and images of religious symbols

STEP 2: Making a Cross With the Strips

first you need to  take the cardboard strips and tape or glue them together  to  make a cross  

STEP 3:

then cut off a bit of string and stick it to the back off an image do this with four images 

STEP 4:

what you need to do now is attach the images to the ends of the cross then pierce a hole through the middle of your cardboard cross and thread string through  at the earth ball to the string like in the image and your done

Can't you explain that to children without a model?
I cannot see how a modellike this helps with understanding human-spiritualty.
