Introduction: Simple Black and Gold Bracelet

This geometric bracelet is great for starters in the field of jewelry making, but be warned it's highly addictive ;).

Step 1: Supplies

In order to make this lovely but remarkably easy bracelet you will need the following supplies:
-pliers
-gold iron thread
-long golden beads (9mm)
-'bigger' black beads (5mm)
-'smaller' black seed beads (1,5mm)

Step 2: The Beginning

You will need 2 pieces of about 70 cm (28 inches) from the gold iron thread.
If you have cut these, fold them in half and twist the threads into a loop.
This is a very easy way to make a lock for bracelets and you will probably use it if you continue in crafting bracelets.

Step 3: First Bead

After making the loop you will take the two inner threads and slide the 'bigger' black bead all the way up.

Step 4: Adding the Other Beads

For the two outer strings you will first add a long golden bead then a 'smaller' black seed bead and after that a long golden bead again. Do this for both the outer strings.

Step 5: Finish

Bend the two outer strings slightly at the 'smaller' black seed bead in order to have all four iron threads at the same place. Take a 'smaller' black seed bead and slide it over all four threads, after doing this you finished the first part of the bracelet. Now keep on making these rhombus shapes until it's long enough to fit around your wrist.

Step 6: Make More of Them!

You now know how to make a geometric black and gold bracelet but the possibilities are endless. Try making an iron thread bracelet with your own design if you are feeling extra creative ;). I hope you liked this instruction and if you made an iron thread bracelet let me know!
