Intro: Simple Knex Mg

hi guys and girls this is my knex mg it can shoot about 10 to 15 foot and is compact and great for knex wars

STEP 1: The Base

ok now this is the base of the mg i now i forgot the parts list
so i will put a list on each step
ok to make the base you will need
3x half blue spheres
7xhalf purple connector (<-not sure about spelling)
1x yellow rod
6xblue rod
1xred connector
1xgreen rod


STEP 2: Upper Half

ok for this step you will need
3xwhite connector
13xwhite rod
2xred rod
2xyellow rod
1xblue rod
7xred connector
1x y connector
2xyellow connector
19xpurple half connector
2xorange connector
3xgreen rod
2xsmall trinagle pannel (optional)

STEP 3: The Drivechain

this is the part that will be driven by the motor to make the chain go round and round
on the drivechain at the back it has 13 blue rings
not putting list because you can make this by eye

i used the knex motor from the 30 model pack but i think any motor can fit in

STEP 4: M.O.D.S

that is my kne'x mg guys and girls
if you have any mods or upgrades feel free to post any time you want

STEP 5: Oops

sory guys i forgot to tell you how to make the chain

I just got done building it. small power. Takes an age to reload fully auto. The engine is really weird to. It couldn't work with my erector motor or a regular rectangle one. I finally found a motor that would work but it goes really slow I will try to Improvise and mod because reloading takes forever.

making motor faster the bullets should shoot about at least 3 fps now 3 bullets per second.

You have so great reviews I am going to build your gun, however I have a erector motor which spins way faster then a knex motor. I will heavily mod this design thank you for the original design. Will post win finished, no instructions, slideshow

I like it. it uses mini gunson a chain fed through a simple cage, its so small and brilliant. +1!

r there any mgs that dont use a motor just a crank

yes. there is a knex mg that you crank. but it shoots bbs and airsoft bullets.

not only that but you should just take off the motor and add your own crank

I just made this and it shoots really well and i love it +5
