materials:

shotcky diode
9 volt battery
400 volt capacitor

note: BE CAREFUL WITH THE CHARGED CAPACITOR! THE CURRENT WILL EASILY PARALYZE YOUR HAND!!!!!

Step 1: Locate Poles...

locate the positive and negative poles.

Step 2: ...solder...

now, solder the negative lead (on the diode) to the positive lead on the capacitor.

Step 3: ...charge/discharge.

Now for this step, put the positive lead on the positive terminal of the battery and negative on negative for 5-10 seconds. To spark this Instructable, touch the leads to any conductive metal and watch 400 arching volts charge the ions in the air and spark!!!!!!!!!!!!!
