Intro: The Easiest Swing to Make Ever!

This swing is the easiest swing to assemble that I have ever used. The only hard part is getting the rope over the tree branch.

STEP 1: Supplies.

1. A pogo-stick
2.some rope NOTE: please make sure that the rope is able to support your weight before you enjoy your swing.
3.a large tree you are able to climb NOTE: make sure the branch you will hang your stick on is not dead for it will fall and give you a nasty headache.

STEP 2: Hang the Rope

find a sturdy branch and just put the rope over it so the two ends are about even at the bottom and two feet above the ground. If the rope ends are higher than that you will probably want to get a longer rope.

STEP 3: Tie the Knots!

this will most probably be the hardest step yet. Just pay attention to the pictures carefully

STEP 4: How to Have Fun

This is not exactly something you need to do but just a list of fun things to do wit your pogo-swing.

1.just swing-DUH!
2.stick your arms through the two ropes and you will be able to make awesome poses.
3. roll up th ropes on the handles even higher so it will obviously be higher in the air.
4.spin your pogo swing really tight, get on and try not to fall off.
5.loosen the ropes so the pogo-stick hangs loose but still stands at an angle above the ground. just balance on it.

Just flip the monitor sideways. Neat Idea, I am off to find real climbing rope, arboreal rope, and see how long my kids take before they lose interest and ask for the game on the Wii
yes,Please. My computer runs on linux so I have not figured out how to rotate them yet.
Cool! great way to reuse and old pogo stick
Good idea for the Instructable. Not a good idea rotating the pictures that way. But still, this is really cool, it's pretty awesome! If you need help rotating them, look at the comments below! If you don't want to, then go to "edit" your image in Paint. Then, click the "image" part at the top, click "flip/rotate". Then you can rotate to victory!!!!
Nuttin wrong with this idea. But--if you're bouncing up and down (like you would on a pogo) the rope needs to be strong enough to support 4 or 5 times your weight (at least.)
The easiest way to rotate these would be to just start up your paint program, go to the 'image' menu at the top, and go to 'flip/rotate'. Select 'rotate by angle', and select 180. This should straighten your pictures out.
If I were you I would take the pictures and turn them right side up.
