This is it the amazing flashlight made frome scrap parts got all the parts from the shack and home depot. Its fancy switch and everything

Step 1: Gather Parts

i got all my parts from the home depot and the shack

B 1 push on push off switch
C 3 9v battey clips
D 3 9v batteries
E some wire
F a 560 ohm resistor

b:1 male threded connecter
c:1 1" to 2" expander
d:1 female threaded end

tools:
! hot glue gun
@ soddering iron
# sodder
$ drill
% hack saw

Step 2: Fit the Thing

thake the pipe you got and cut it down to about 7 1/2" or what feels good

drill a hole in it about 3/4 of the way up make sure the button will fit

put the parts on the ends this will be what the flash light will look like DONT GLUE ANYTHING IN PLACE YET!!!

Step 3: Wire It Up

ad longer wires to the ends of the leds for mobillity and to keep it from shorting

wire the 9v batts togather like in the pic with:
resistor/+/batt /-/+/batt/-/+/batt/- (ps i did change this before thanx to las veguses comment)

the tape them like in the pic so that they will fit in the pipe

Step 4: The Head of the Beast

take a pice of card bard or somthing like it as long as it is thin and cut it to fit in the top of the expander then poke 3 holes for the leds make sure the wont fall thru

then make the cords all nice and easy to tell wich is + and wich is - the wire like so
+/led/-/+/led/-/+/led/-

Step 5: Almost There

first sodder the negitve lead of the batts to the negitive leads on the leds then

take the switch and add wires to the ends put it thru the hole and poke the wires out thru the top where you will atatch the lights
sodder one side to resistor and the other to the positve end of the leds

Step 6: Now That the Circitry Is Done...

glue the top to the middle and the middle to the bottom but not the base to the bottom
glue the diffuser to the top (if u have one)and the switch to the middle like in the pic wrap up the handleing part with some electric tape and u have your finished product
not bad for some 7th grader
