Looking for someone to write an arduino sketch for a stepper motor driven XY table Only looking for a basic, simple code Willing to pay but willing to accept volunteers also :) Thanks!

Hi, I want to get into microcontrollers and stuff. Doo you think that an Arduino is the best way to get into this stuff. I live in the UK and I've been looking at this. I need something that interfaces via USB or serial ( via a usb to serial adater) and this looks ideal. What do you think about these? Are they any good?BTW: Does anyone know a place (other than ebay to get these in the UK?)-josh

Hello. I saw certain Arduino Tank projects like the A.A.T. in particular... I saw a maker using an SN754410NE Motor Driver, which got me confused. Im a beginner Arduino user, so i dont know very much about it, but I am wondering why did he use the SN754410NE Motor Driver and not a motor shield? Thanks

I am making a micromouse and want integrate the encoders using the fuction interrupt with the Arduino UNO. The encoders are from parallax; Boe-Bot Digital Encoder Kit. Know how programed using instruction of interrup. https://www.parallax.com/sites/default/files/styles/mid-sized-product/public/28107_3.png?itok=1K1pfZbG

I want to burn the Arduino bootloader to an Arduino from an Arduino. I have an Arduino Duemilanove, and I want to take the chip(ATMega328) off, and use it in a circuit, without having to connect the whole Arduino to the circuit. However, I then have an Arduino with no chip. So, Can I just put a regular ATMega328(I know I can just buy one with the bootloader already on it, but I would rather do itmyself.) into the Arduino, connect it to the computer, and use the Arduino IDE(I'm using 0021- the most up to date one) to burn the bootloader to it? If so, how? If I cant, is there any way to easily do it with only another Arduino with the bootloader on it?

Hey guys! This Saturday, March 29 2014 is Arduino Day! What are some of your favorite Arduino projects? I am personally a fan of the Twittering Office Chair, The Arduino Step Sequencer, and this Tiny Arduino Laser Cutter (so cute!). If you want a good place to start with Arduino, check out this Instructable!

I see that the new Arduino contest rules stipulate that your project must use the Arduino IDE. I was actually thinking of making a cool new Instructable using an Arduino Mega, but using avr-gcc instead of the Arduino "framework". Would that be permissible for entry into this contest?

For all you Arduino fans out there, we're going to have an Arduino contest coming to the site soon. I can't give out any dates or prizes yet, but the only requirement for the contest will be that it involves Arduino in some way. What you do with the Arduino is completely up to you. More information soon.

Hi everyone. I live in Mexico, and getting an Arduino is hard, not to mention way more expensive than the $30 US version. I was looking for some Arduino clones that you can do yourself (Open source, no kits) but since I've never used an Arduino I don't know how to compare them and decide wich is the best. I hope someone experienced on Arduino and Arduino clones can help me out. Thanks in advance. Cheers!

Hi, I want to upload the same sketch to multiple arduino boards, say for eg 15 to 20 arduino uno boards. What could be the easiest way to do so? Thank You,

Do you think there is a great alternative to the current solar charger? Today, there are many DIY Solar Chargers that are alternatives to the current commercial products. Do you think there is a better design for a solar charger that is not run by an arduino?

I was excited to find out that an arduino could be used as an ISP programmer. But when I found out that the arduino uno does not support this feature, my dreams were crushed. I did recently buy an arduino nano and was wondering if I could use this as an ISP programmer. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help!

I had programmed attiny with arduino via arduino as isp . I was programing with atmel studio for a while and wanted to burn the hex file to a chip using arduino isp. i tried a lot but always was unsuccessful stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00 popped ny idea how to get rid of this and program it

I need to drive 5 3W RGB LEDs in series using an arduino. The maximum current required is 350mA each for R G and B dyes. and minimum current requirement is 2.4V, 2.4V and 3.5V respectively. What should I use to interface the LEDs with my arduino as the output current of each arduino pin is 50mA maximum Thanks in advance
