Weirdest thing you have ever bought off of Ebay or Craigslist etc.

I ask this question because I bought a dog off Craigslist, which was the weirdest thing I have ever bought online. Post yours.

Where to get a milling machine.

I have been trying to find a reasonably priced milling machine but also trying to find one that doesn't charge two times the price of the machine in shipping costs. I have been looking on Craigslist for the past six months and haven't seen anything. I am in Seattle, WA. Does anyone have any ideas of where I should look?

Useful parts in mini fridge?

Hi folks, ive got a small, fully functional mini fridge that I have no direct use for. I am either going to donate the thing via Craigslist or free cycle, but was wondering what parts and things might be salvaged out of the thing and re-applied towards other projects? What has been your experience with things like this?

(SF Bay Area related) Very cool Mexican Cartoneria class at The Crucible

I actually posted this listing on Craigslist, as a volunteer with the Crucible, and thought I'd share it since it's with a very awesome artist Ruben Guzman. The class is to learn to make those neat Mexican paper sculptures which I've attached a pic of! It never occurred to me to learn to make these.http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cls/717746126.html

Go Kart - How do I secure the gear to the axle?

I bought a used go kart frame off craigslist, and I am repairing it. The problem is that the brake disc and the two gears for the motor spin freely on the rear left axle even when the wheel is not moving. How do I secure the gears to the axle? Do I use a bolt, or what? Thanks

Thank you!

I just have to say to everyone who has contributed to Instructables, as well as the creators of this site, that I think this is the greatest web site since craigslist. Thank you all so much for your tremendous creativity and generosity. I've only known about Instructables for 3 days (since a mention on NPR's Weekend Edition) and have already built 2 instructables. Thank you all again, and again, and many times more. May all of you living in the northern hemisphere enjoy a wonderful harvest festival and may all of you living in the southern hemisphere enjoy a successful planting season.

Gone! (60 Free mousetraps. San Francisco Bay Area)

Given away to the Instructables HQ - can't think of a better place for it. I originally bought these to create mousetrap-powered cars, but I decided to scrap the project because preparing the mousetraps is too difficult for my students. I thought about selling them over craigslist, but in the end I decided that I do not want them to be used to kill mice. So if you would like these (and you live in the SF bay area) please message me and I'll be happy to give them away for creative purposes. I hope someone out there can use it! Lance

What to do with a box of motherboards?

I just went to a garage sale that I saw on craigslist. The guy advertised a good amount of computer stuff. Upon getting there I found a treasure trove of 3-8 year old computer parts. Long story short i bought a box of 20 motherboards for five bucks. Sadly only six of them have processors though. Now comes the problem, what the hell should i do with 20 motherboards? I'm actually gonna go back there too because he's got empty towers at $5 a piece, as well as NICs, video cards, power supplies, and the like. So again, any ideas on what I should do?

3d printer service

HI everyone. I am wanting to start a 3d printing service business. This would be on a small scale to start. My question is how to securely download 3d files from customers so that I can use those files to create a 3d printed object for them, then ship objects back. I thought about offering the service on craigslist and receive the customer's file through email. But I know that a website would be better, but have no idea as how to implement the capability to receive customers' files securely and while keeping those files organized. Items will be printed using a makerbot, so I would communicate to potential customers as to the limitations of said printer. Thanks, and would appreciate any answers or advice.

Knitting Machines?

I'm trying to knit a sweater-vest that has a two color repeating design. I'd like to use a knitting machine because I am trying to recreate a sweater-vest from a movie, and it looks like using a knitting machine is the best way to go. I know next to nothing about knitting machines, but I've seen them on eBay and Craigslist for pretty cheap (Like, less than $50.) but I have no idea what I need.  What's a good, cheap, knitting machine? Also, what's the deal with punch cards? I don't really know what they're for. Can someone explain this all to me? Thanks so much, I can't wait to see what responses I get. You guys are awesome.

We've Moved!

Instructables has taken another step forward by moving from the naval base in Alameda to San Francisco! While we loved the views and the shop at the tower the space was getting a little too cozy and, along with Potenco, we moved on across the bay into a new spot in the South of Market neighborhood. The new space means that we're easier to visit and we're much closer to the many cool folks of the DIY community in San Francisco. We have some big plans for the new space, but for now we're focusing more on unpacking boxes and making lots of runs to pick up free items we find on Craigslist. Oh, and finding all the cool new places to eat nearby. We're loving our new food options. We'll have more pics of the new space soon. Right now the place is pretty sparse, but it'll be cool. Very cool.Have a good caption for the second picture below? Enter it into our caption competition!

Instructables and Squid Labs have moved!

Instructables and Squid Labs have moved! We finally ran out of space in our Emeryville warehouse. During November, there were literally people sitting on the ground working on their laptops because we didn't have enough desks, space for desks, or even chairs to sit in. We're now located in a secret location somewhere on an island in the middle of the San Francisco Bay with plenty of space and spectacular views. Since that free barge on Craigslist was taken before we could get there, I guess it's not much of a secret location considering there are only two possible spots left.Check out our new digs at the old the Alameda Naval base control tower. Yes, we are actually in the control tower building. There's three guns in the front, plenty of parking for school buses and free boats, and it's tough to beat the view from my office. More pictures here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/93327160@N00/sets/72157594460055354/Directions to the control tower here.

Homemade Custom Instruments?

Ok, I have a question. If my friend and I began to build unique cigar box, tin, and slide guitars, would people buy them? We would make them with much more craftsmenship than the ones I have previously build. We would take our time and do our best to make them playable guitars. Would anyone out there contemplate buying one for mabe $35-$50? They would be  similar to the links below. https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-an-Electric-Cigar-Box-Guitar-for-25/ https://www.instructables.com/id/Cigar-Box-Guitar/ https://www.instructables.com/id/3-string-slide-guitar/ https://www.instructables.com/id/My-Cigar-Box-Guitar-with-cigar-box-amp/ https://www.instructables.com/id/My-First-Box-Guitar/ Also, we would probably sell through craigslist or ebay, maybe even using youtube or instructables to get the word out. If you are interested, contact me because we will be making these plus other products.

Do you live in East Bay?

Don't mind me - I'm just tapping all my resources :D I'm looking for a place to hang my hat in the East Bay area for the summer. I just need a place to sleep, cook a meal and park a car (and lock a bike) :) My goal is pack light for this trip. To be honest, I probably won't be around too much as I'll either be at work or exploring the area - this is my first adventure on the west coast (I'll miss those east coast ocean sunrises :P). I've been watching craigslist (more like waiting for replies :P) and I found the "420 compliant" person to be hilarious... But I'm not interested in being around it... So if you have an extra room (hell, even a camper - as long as I can take a shower somewhere) or anything - let me know. Or, if you know someone that may have a place - do share :) Feel free to ask any questions. If you prefer, my eMail is trebuchet03 at gmail dot com . Oh... and the hat I hang... it's a fedora - just because the top hat was too expensive.

Gone! Free Copy of Autodesk Sketchbook Pro 2011 Gone!

It's gone! I decided to give it to CaptainMunz. Sketchbook Pro is designed to be used with a graphics tablet, like a Wacom Bamboo, so I think he'll get the best use out of it. Congrats! Original post: I received a free copy of Sketchbook Pro from the Instructables HQ for being the top author, but I don't really have a good use for it. So rather than resell it over craigslist, I'd like to pay it forward by giving it away to a deserving member of the Instructables community. So please write a brief but thoughtful reply or PM about what you would do with a copy of Sketchbook and how it would be a boon to your pursuits. I've never conducted a giveaway before, so I'm going to just take replies for a few days and then take it from there. Once I've decided who to give it to I'll let you know by editing this thread. A DVD case is lightweight, so I think I can ship it pretty far. Does anyone have an idea of how much it would cost to ship from California to say, India? I look forward to hearing from you - cheers!

How to use a potentiometer with this treadmill motor and speed controller?

Hi everyone I found this forum after doing a lot of searching on controlling the speed on a treadmill motor without using the big bulky digital display unit that sits on top of the treadmill. I bought a really nice Nordic Track for 10 dollars on Craigslist and I thought I would be able to figure out how to do this but apparently I was wrong. I have seen a lot of material regarding the MC-60 speed controller unit but nothing about the speed controller that came on the treadmill that I bought which was the MC-2100 Rev B. I will attach a couple of pictures of the board and specifically the wires coming from the display unit that go into the board. I have a 5k pot but I really dont know what to do with it and I am afraid to just start experimenting because I dont want to burn up the motor or the board. I would be happy to post any other pictures or add any other information that might be of help if anyone asks for it. Of course I would like to turn this little project into a lathe if I can ever get everything sorted out. btw the motor is a 2.25 hp cont duty. If the potentiometer wont work, I would love to hear about other ideas to be able to control the speed using this board and motor. Thanks everyone

Can a solid state amplifier be reconstructed/reconfigured as a tube amp?

All guitarists seem to prefer the sound of a tube amp over solid state. Amp manufacturers, after committing to the solid state format, hook, line, and heat sinker, must have been appalled when guitarists began to demand availability of the old school tube amps, and scrambled to replicate the distinctive tube sound by means of additional effects and eventually modelling features. But, the big boys doggedly refused to admit the error of their ways, which, as it turns out, was a good thing as new amp manufacturers began to spring up to fill the void. Finally after sitting around their boardrooms, no doubt sipping their Coke new recipes while watching their market shares dwindle, they decided to reissue some of their most popular tube amps...at six times the initial price of course. I can't afford a new tube amp. I can't afford a used tube amp. Ebay and craigslist are rife with inexpensive, (relatively), solid state amps. My question then is, could a solid state amp be retrofitted with a tube chassis and perhaps still utilize some of the solid state attributes and parts? My instinct tells me yes. However, my knowledge of electronics and theory being nil, I really haven't the foggiest idea of what might be involved with such an undertaking. To say that a schematic is Greek to me is a gross understatement. Therefore, I appeal to the genius of the Instructable contributers to comment, or even better, start a project build. (C'mon gmoon, you know you want to!) Thanks Sycan

Cabin photos from indie book release- Mobile shack/trailer/fort/camper made from trash

As promised, here's some photos of one of the newer JUNK CABINS I'm building.... AND...  http://relaxshax.wordpress.com/2010/01/    Its part of the indie book I just released on small houses/shacks... This cabin's nothing fancy, and stands at a mere 24 square feet, but it sleeps two (bunk-style), has a dutch style door (made from two recycled kitchen cabinet doors), and all in all is almost completely made from salvaged roadside/free materials- even most of the screws and nails. The paint (to make all the forklift pallet wood and scrap wood appear uniform) was unfortunately purchased (but after I sold some salvaged/found junk on craigslist). Also, The roof was originally made from mdf plywood/particle board from old stereo cabinets and tv armoirs (and an entire junked roll of roofing paper), but that proved too heavy for this wheeled/mobile cabin. In the endrun, I bit the bullet and bought some tuffex panels for roofing, which DOES give the interior some nice natural light- the only reason I decided to "cheat" with this route.      When finished, the cabin will have a mini-woodstove created from an old propane gas tank I nabbed at the dump (safety/workability pending), an outdoor kitchen/prep area attached to the cabin., and perhaps a small broken solar light kit I rewired and fixed. I'll also finish the wine-bottle window (not shown).    Anyway, thanks for looking!  Built to fit a trailer of mine, I'm eventually planning on hauling it up to my land in VT, where it can be used as lo-fi guest cabin or sorts, for those who always forget to bring tents.

Update on Team Instructables in the Red Bull Creation Contest

Team Instructables participated in the Red Bull Creation Contest this past weekend: a harrowing 72 hours of intense building. We had an amazing and exhausting time, and are still recovering from lost sleep and too many energy drinks. See the original post about the build here. The build is over, but the contest is not! Voting starts July 25th. The contest hosts are collecting some media from every team, which will go on their website. But we thought you deserved the first look at what we made: Psycho Scooter Scramble the blind-driving electric wheelchair game Psycho Scooter Scramble is a game for four: two riders and two pilots. The trusting rider is strapped into an electric wheelchair, placing their life in the hands of a blindfolded pilot. The pilot controls the rider's careening wheelchair from the sidelines based on shouted headset commands from the rider. The basic mechanic is simple: players must drive across the court to get a ball from a stand, then drive back across to put the ball in a hoop. This action is repeated until all four balls have been scored or the timer runs out. However, since there is an inevitable disconnect between the pilots’ steering and their teammates’ intentions, wheelchairs zigzag across the court at high speeds, colliding with each other, ball stands, the scoreboard, and everything else, making full use of the custom steel bumpers and creating hilarious mayhem for the benefit of onlookers and players alike. It's kind of like this: (wonderful descriptive graphic by fjordcarver) I've uploaded our best gameplay (and a few build) photographs to this post. Here is a video of how it works:   More videos can be found on Instructables TV. Big thanks from the Instructables Build Team! Thanks also to our last-minute build helpers: Eric, Jessy, Matt, and Jake. We couldn't have done it without you. We really can't thank you enough for supporting us in this contest and in our build. Particularly on the last day, is our state of sleep deprivation and occasional desperation, we needed the emotional support of everybody in our Instructables community. (Special shout-out to fjordcarver for exceptional support over the LiveStream.) Final thought: This game is awesome. Win or lose, we're glad we did it, because there is truly no game in the world that is quite like Psycho Scooter Scramble. Also, we learned that you can get a sweet electric wheelchair on Craigslist for under $200, and have some idea how to hack it. And that knowledge is priceless. Look for an Instructable, coming soon, on how to make Psycho Scooter Scramble yourself! Starting July 25th, this project and those of the other 11 teams can be found here. Laugh, cry, enjoy, and remember to vote! If we win, we get to show this off at World Maker Fair in New York. (And yes, if you're there, you can play too.)

XYZ Recumbent Trike

So I've been wanting a recumbent bike to help me get in shape. I'm far enough out of shape that a standard bike is uncomfortable to the point of being a deterent. The biggest obstacle to me is the price. Even the Terra Trike which is supposed to be an affordable, entry level option is almost a grand even bare bones. I tried looking on craigslist but even used ones rarely dip below 800. So I looked for something I could diy. My biggest obstacle on that front is I don't own, or know how to use a welder. I think I've found something promising though.  There is a group in The Netherlands called N55. They are sort of a engineering/art collective and they focus on things to improve modern life. One of the projects they have out there is their XYZ Vehicles. They are pedal powered vehicles designed so that they can be put together with a minimum of tools. All that really should be needed is a power drill, some wrenches and a metal saw. From what I understand, they do classes where they build the 2 upright versions, the bakfiet and the tadpole design with the cargo box, but these are all over in europe and I am in Arizona so... I haven't been able to find anyone as of yet who has made one of the recumbents here in the states and posted about it. I would love to do this and post it as an instructable but I need some help. All of the materials list is metric and while I personally think a base-10 system makes a heck of a lot more sense that what we call standard measurements, I'm still not familiar with metric. So my question to the community is, should I convert all the measurements to standard or is there someplace i can buy these materials from here in the states in metric sizes? The best car ad ever made

A family member sent me this ad that was posted on craigslist, while it was the most explicit ad I've ever seen, I'd prefer this over any normal ad. Enjoy those who feel comfortable reading this. DISCLAIMER:  I bleeped (****) out any explicit words...... Though I could have missed s-something.  And explicit's definition is different between people Side note: If anyone thinks this is a tad (or more than a tad) over the top, PM me or reply saying so. I'll delete it. - - - If you think you'll be offended by this ad... DON'T READ IT.  - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - POS 1994 Honda Civic LX for sale - $600 (Marietta, GA) Date: 2010-07-11, 4:49PM EDT Reply to: sale-63pgj-1837513434@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] That's right, you can own a piece of shi... history right now for only $600. You may wonder why I didn't post a picture and that's because with a car this crappy, a photo is not needed. Just imagine the worst possible car and then picture a camel taking a dump in the trunk and you'll have a close approximation. You don't need to worry about me lying... it really is a POS. There is no risk of you getting over here and finding out it's really a gorgeous gem worth thousands... that doesn't happen...ever. But if for some reason that's actually happened to you, then you are acquainted with a crazy cosmic karma that has never thought to even piss in my face. I almost had a date on PlentyofFish and you know what happened? The f***ing AC died. For two years while I was not dating, it worked fine. The day after I get digits, the AC craps out. The car also has a weird hesitation problem that was not fixed even when I replaced the fuel filter. What could cause all of these things? Satan in the drive train...that's right... it's rare, but it happens to guys like me. This car is actually demon-possessed so you can forget about any sort of easy fix. Jesus said you need faith to cast out demons like this and believe me there are only two people on the planet that have that sort of faith. One guy lives in a cave in India and the other guy is dead. And you can forget about the guy in the cave helping you because, if you can find him, he's just going to tell you how physical setbacks are really spiritual blessings...blah blah blah...yada yada yada. Exactly. Don't expect sympathy from any motherf***er that sits around in his underwear in a cave. Other problems with this car include busted boots on the tie-rod ends, busted wheel hub boots, broken AC, leaking power steering system, ABS light always on, check-engine light comes on occasionally, driver window sometimes comes off the track, paint has permanent dirt in it (yes, it's f***ing permanent...you can't scrub it out with anything less than sandpaper or some highly explosive chemical that causes cancer in 49 states and erectile dysfunction in the 50th.) The car does drive, but that's about all it's good for. Good luck getting it to pass emissions. I've never tried as it's still registered in Clarke County. If you want to date, this car is probably not for you. On a positive note though, I can assure you no one has ever had sex in it. It would take a miracle to get a girl to even sit in this car, much less take her clothes off in it. Other possible uses for this car included entertainment at frat parties. You could charge people $5 a swing with a baseball bat, although you still probably wouldn't recover your investment. You might be able to sell it to the Mythbusters and get the to test the myth, "Is it possible that a car could really be this s***ty?" Adam Savage and Kari Byron will have a field day and close it off with "Myth f***ing confirmed" and a side comment from Kari about how whatever d*****bag use to own it must have never been laid. There are some positives like a beautiful Lumar 32% tint job, keyless entry with remote trunk release, an Alpine CD Player, and Pioneer speakers in the door. So at worst, you can sit in your driveway and listen to music with a bottle of Jergens and a picture of Eliza Dushku. I really wouldn't recommend taking it on the road until you replace the tie-rod ends. You might crash into a bus full of nuns and then the Pope will reign motherf***ing hail fire down on your betrodden a** with more fury than the inquisition because you actually decided to drive and be seen in such an amazing POS, killing 20 of his lovely Sisters. One other thing you might use this car would be pushing it off a cliff. If you've ever wanted to see what it's like first hand for a car to fall hundreds of feet and smash against rock, then here's your chance. Although don't be surprised if this demon-possessed sleigh from hell manages to f*** up your good time even in that bold scenario. I don't know how it would, but it would probably figure out a way. If there are any parents out there reading this, don't let your children fall into the situation I'm in. I would never have ended up with this car if I had pursued a real career. But instead I majored in math where the best job I can find now is up in Portland with a bunch of bran muffin eating hippies, jerking off Moose for 75 cents a smile for some wildlife conservation sperm bank. Let your kids do something with good with their future, like wait tables at Denny's. Oh yeah... it's white, 4 doors, and automatic. Whooptie-f***in-do!

Help for completion of Knee Walker Project ?

Hi Everyone I have a problem with a project I started to overcome my unique disability , this project was to basically install low powered electric motor on a kneewalker so I could get assistance / go off-road , yet still use it manually if need be i.e. to get some exercise or more importantly if battery dies ( something I cant do with mobility scooter or wheelchair  ) The problem however is I cant do this myself due my disability ( weld it , use power tools etc ) so I had this person i meet on a another  forum who agreed to help me - but unfortunately he hasnt   - so instead I am trying to find a replacement for him or any one that is willing to help. The motor itself ( Motor - MW12B GoldenMotor  )seems to work fine using a Lyens controller , but  unfortunately there is no direct link to the hub motor whose details are below. Model: MW12B -- 12" Motor Wheel Voltage:36V (Brushless) Power Rate:250W Weight: 4.8Kgs You will have to got to the gm website on the link above click on hub motors and scroll down to find more details , including links to 3d drawings . You can see the motor itself working in following videos that were posted by the person who still has it video1 video2 video3 Due to the size difference of the wheel  ( 16" compared to the front 9" using MTB tires ) amongst other things, we were  trying to find a way to mount it that he suggested would probably involve having to weld on some strong rear forks from a bike  or perhaps something else. Ive included the whole assessment / plan we did based on our mutual ideas and discussions below for reference, but Im afraid thats pretty much it , as I dont have any of the parts here for reference or than the basic facts . If any ones interested in helping , or going me any advice Id be grateful for your suggestions , if any ones wants to offer their services at a price just send me a pm and we discuss things further. thanks for listening , heres the assessment / plan I mentioned.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I need to figure out a rough plan for the wheel mounting, plus brake mounting. We need to get disc and caliper. We need to figure out what front wheels, how to mount them, and how to fix the sloppy steering. In order to go see a welder we need to know where to weld the dropouts, the caliper mounts, and what, if any welding to do at the front end. Assessment Frame - good, solid, heavy. bulletproof. Wheels - strong, solid, better made with bearings etc better than expected. but hard tires are not nice, and wheels are a little too thin and too small. I expect its easy to get hung up on small obstacles. brakes - crap. none existent basically. Just a bit of metal pushing on the tyre. Also the lever is either crap or a bit broken. need to inspect it. steering - not very good but not crap. whole linkgae is a bit loose and wobbly, just held together by a few bolts. this means it has a fair bit of play in the steering. The whole thing with the bolts is that they have to be a bit loose otherwise the steering won't move. not a very good design. but it will do. handlebars/stem/steerer - designed to be collapsible easily, which is good, but there is also excessive play in this as well. it will do but its not great. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Thoughts.... Because there is four wheels, I found that on uneven floors (just around the front room the floorboards were uneven enough) one wheel is often off the ground a tiny bit. This would be solved by having 3 wheels or tyres with a bit of give in them. I would not want to keep any of the wheels. I would want to replace the front wheels with something a bit wider softer and grippier. like scooter wheels or MTB wheels. Brakes - the center of gravity is quite far forward. if it had brakes only on the front then i feel like it might tip over. then again, with the weight of the frame, the motor, batteries and person, maybe not. I will do some testing. Motors - Golden has the 8" single sided solid tyre motors that would be the easiest conversion, but I don't like the solid tyres and I don't like having 2 wheels at the back. I already ran into my foot. There is also the 8" double sided solid tire. This is not so easy either because it is the same size as the existing wheels therefore the axle would want to go exactly where the existing axles join. Could be done with cutting and welding but would be a pain, plus you still have the solid tire etc. I held up a 12" dinner plate and I reckon it would not look so bad actually. I will take some pics tomorrow. It looks like we would need to cut off a bit of the back section and weld on some dropouts, a bit higher up and further in than the existing axle mounts.. It looks like it will fit under the knee platform ok as well. Controller - because we may well end up with a motor that is not exactly right for the job, I think its all the more important we get a controller with some intelligence. Something programmable where we can set a low voltage, top speed etc. This leads us back to the GM controller, Lyens mini monster, or......I just thought, hmmm the kelly controllers are programmable - well they do a little controller that might be up for the job as well. In fact it looks the most programmable one so far. It is the mini one next to the coke can here: Hub & Wheel Motor Controller | EV Parts They have one that does 12-24v for $79 or $99 depending on max amps. You can get it waterproof for an extra $19 http://kellycontroller.com/kbs2405120a1 ... p-499.html It is fully programmable, see the software screenshots and manual here: Kelly KBS controllers online demo/help-Kelly Controls, LLC http://kellycontroller.com/mot/download ... Manual.pdf You need a serial port on your computer to program it, if you don't have one you need a serial to USB converter. They sell one for $29. Kelly are good controllers. I never thought of them until just now - I usually associate them with high power controllers for cars and motorbikes. When I used to work at Sevcon (who make argubaly the best...and most expensive...controllers you can get.)....kelly was one of the few competitors we kept an eye on. If you look at the setup software, you can fine tune min throttle, max throttle, max amps, max speed, all kinds of things. It will be just the ticket for fine tuning. --------------------------------------------------------------------- So........... This would be my personal plan right now - Electronics: $115 Motor - MW12B (GM) $98 kelly controller waterproofed $29 Serial RS232 to USB converter (from kelly) $20 throttle (max) $20 ebrake lever (max) $50 wiring, connectors, etc -------- $332 Frame / Fabrication: $50 old steel bike to steal dropouts off (maximum, probably less from craigslist or a garage sale) $150 to pay someone to weld the dropouts on and maybe brake caliper mounts plus machine front wheel mounts if necessary for new wheels (maximum) $50 (max) 2 front wheels MTB or scooter 8 inch with pneumatic tyres. $30 (max) new axles, bolts, washers etc $30 box for battery plus mounting bolts etc $50 (max) for respray or powdercoat frame (will be messy after welding. something to put the battery in ----------------------- $360 Brakes $20 (max) brake disk for rear plus screw on adapter for rear hub Brake discs $40 (max) brake caliper (cable ok, hydraulic not needed) $50 bolt on brake caliper mount (seen them somewhere but can't find right now) price is a guess. --------------------------- $110 Battery depends. I am clueless as to the requirements of this system. I can test with my own batteries once it is setup. Then we will know, but at a minimum you will be talking about 18 or 24v 10 amp hour. That is : $199 from ping
