How to draw a furry?

I have learned how to do this now!!!  In fact, I'm making some tutorials to post on DeviantArt and am putting them into a 'ible!  If anyone needs it, here it is! https://www.instructables.com/id/Drawing-AnthrosFurries/

Furry Group's Logo

Hey, my computer is being somewhat of a fishwife, and the files I'm uploading to instructables aren't coming out right. If anyone feels like giving us a new logo, drop me a line.

Are scrapbookers the furries of the crafting world?

I heard someone say today that "scrapbookers are the furries of the crafting world." What do you think?

Instructables

It would help if we had some actual furry instructables to add to the group. If you find one or make one, lemme know, and I'll add it. Generally anything related to the fandom is what I'm looking for.

Where do you live?

I just decided to post this because I'm pretty sure I'm the only furry in Hattiesburg, Ms and just wanted to see for sure.  You can reply to this no matter where you live though, I'm just curious right now...(btw, If anyone can help me name my fursona, plz reply here:www.instructables.com/answers/Could-anyone-help-me-name-my-fursona/  Thx!)

Could anyone help me name my fursona?

My DA account: wizerd745.deviantart.com As according to my friend Nellofox's (on DeviantArt) suggestion, I have just gone with the name Wizerd!  I have used that username for things as far back as I remember, so I guess it's good enough!

New Avatar

How do you like my new avatar? I couldn't decide if I liked the highlights yellow like that. Opinions? PS Ignore the JPEG artifacts, I had to save in Paint because my Photoshop doesn't like to save files.

How awkward can this get? Answered

I commented on one of my friend's pics on MIXI (because we now work with Japanese social networking).  It was of a cat with the Soviet logo painted on it's forehead.  She said that it was her head, then sent me a pic of her wearing a fur suit.  I have an awkwardness scale of 1-50, and this demolished the scale.  NO I WILL NOT SEND PICS.  it is already awkward enough...

Drawing Anthros Guide

I just wanted to submit a link to this awesome guide I found for drawing anthro's. It's really great and it's also long and detailed (I printed it and it took 102 pages). In the process of teaching you how to draw anthro's it also has great drawing guides and tips for drawing anything - including humans and animals. So, for anyone interested - here's the link: http://hippie.nu/~unicorn/tut/xhtml/

Does any body recognise this insect? Answered

It was in my friend's kitchen. We thought that it was a beetle but it it appears furry and almost like a bee under the carapace. I can't seem to find any images of this. It seemed a bit poorly so I couldn't examine it too much; I put it on some flowers outside. The last picture is from my google search for " furry beetle".

How do I add an 'ible to a group? Answered

I'm trying to add my drawing 'ible www.instructables.com/id/Drawing-AnthrosFurries/ to the furry fandom group https://www.instructables.com/id/Drawing-AnthrosFurries/ but whenever I click "add yours" it gives me a list of only two of my 'ibles (my nerf dart mod and my photoshop lightsaber 'ibles).  Could someone tell me why this is and/or how to add my drawing 'ible to the group?  PLZ!?!?!?

Want to make a mat that discharges small volts to cats to keep them off counters. Ideas?

My cats are beasts and will NOT stay off the counter. The only thing I haven't tried yet is electricity. I basically need a DIY for something called a Scatmat. Don't want to hurt the furry kids, but they're MY counters!

How to de-lint clothes when drying on a line and not in a dryer? Answered

Obviously I could go over them with a lint roller but I was hoping someone would have a less tedious method. We have two furry cats and some clothes come off the clothesline clean and good-smelling but looking awful, cat-hair-wise.

Please help me, How do I become good at drawling?! Answered

When I was little, I use to draw all sorts of things that came to mind (they weren't that good, but whatever) I would usually draw what I saw, happened, or tried to draw a TV Cartoon. But now it comes to me. I want to become good at drawling because I went on DeviantArt and people have entered their own contests to submit their own Kung Fu Panda Character, and I really wanna draw some good ones. Any suggestions? I want to be good at drawling furries, cats or whatever you call them. I feel really upset right now 'cuz I don't have the natural talent people do for looking at things, I have more good ideas in my head then I do on paper! (P.S This picture is not mine, it's a friend of mine's) And if this might help, I'm 13.

why won't my knitted wool hat? Answered

I knit a cloche for my sister out of Icelandic wool and felted it and it came out too small.  So I reknit it with the same damn yarn, though a bit bigger, but this one won't shrink even the tiniest bit.  I've washed it (front loader, dried it in the dryer, and now I've been boiling it for 20 minutes.  It's getting furry, but the stitch definition and the size are basically the same.

Oh So Tired...

Ach. Wouldn't you know it? I finally start a group that seems to be taking off, and I've come down with something nasty. I've been coughing for two weeks, but I've developed some pretty horrid symptoms that only go away when I'm lying down. I'd appreciate it if you guys livened up the group while I'm out by inviting some more furry friends to join it. Thanks, Kataze (Bleach refrencer extrordinaire!)

How do you keep critters out of your vegetable garden?

Due to recent disabilities, I want to do a raised (on a table) square foot garden this year. The major problem I will encounter are all of the friendly four footed furry friends that will come and visit it. Even though we are on several acres, our house is close enough to neighbors that noise makers are not possible and light does nothing to frighten then away. Nothing exotic out there, just some foxes, coyotes, raccoons, skunks, opossums, deer and several feral cats. Maybe a spray on mixture, even if it had to be applied every day...THANKS

How to make a mini crochet goose? Or knitted? It's made of string thats all i know!! :) I'd even appreciate a pattern.

When I was a youngster I had a mini farm play set. It had a cow, pig, ,chicken, goose, etc..... All were made of string like cotton, not furry string. The animals were not more than 2 inches high, and were life like, not animated like amigurumi. The goose was my fav, and I would like to make one of  my own, I can't find mine but I can describe him. He was: About 2 inches high, he had orange feet with wire to form them and an orange beak which was used to put the stuffing down into his body. I don't remember him having wings, but he had a long neck with a little red piece of string around it for a bow.. I absolutely love this toy and if anyone has a pattern to email to me that I could scale down even would be very much appreciated.. I want to make a mini farm set for my new baby neice!! :) I am going to learn to crochet, and try to have it done before she turns 4!!! LOL Someone once told me it may have been an Annies Attic pattern but I haven't found the book yet.. Thank you so much.
