It would help if we had some actual furry instructables to add to the group. If you find one or make one, lemme know, and I'll add it. Generally anything related to the fandom is what I'm looking for.

Hi, can't find my instructables under you/instructables:"You haven't published any instructables, yet" - but this is wrong - i published it allready - I have to search it like any other project so i can view and edit it. Is this normal? thanks

It used to be that when you ranked an instructable it went immediately into your favorites, but then they quit doing that some time ago. I'd like to have a list of all the instructables that I liked so I could review them like the favorites. Thanks for any info

INSTRUCTABLES doesn't play fair or right. It doesn't offer the basic-most options of blocking or unsubscription. You don't let us stop receiving comments. Shame on you. Time to get up to date and the way you should be. Sheesh! Remove me from any and all membership.

I can't express my thanks to Instructables enough. Let me explain why. My first project was documenting how to house a card-reader in an old Nintendo controller. I received a t-shirt (the hand logo one before the robot was around) as a prize. Popular Photography magazine contacted me and the project ended up on the pages of the magazine. Other projects of mine have won me patches, t-shirts, gift certificates, media players, magazine subscriptions and more. I have had my work picked up by a newspaper in Colorado and magazines in Australia and Italy. A co-worker heard one of my projects mentioned on a story on NPR. I was courted and then hired by an AOL company blog to write up projects for them. I made a few hundred dollars doing it before the parent company pulled the plug on the blog. It looks like two of my projects might end up in the upcoming book. One of my least favorite submissions to the site just got someone to contact me about paying to use my content (I'm sure others have been contacted by them also). I'm not trying to brag but i just want to thank everyone involved in the site for providing an outlet for creativity, contests to motivate, and the opportunity to network with similar tinkerers in a place that gives the opportunity to be recognized and rewarded for our effort.

Hi, instructables. I've been following this site for a year now, and i like what you guys did and do here, i wish my country had this kind of "hobbies", wich is why i'm posting this message. I want to show people that we sometimes we can pick up simple things a make art pieces! :) I'm taking a Multimedia course at my school, and for my final project i need to do either create anything using 3d, since rooms to cars, or games/applications in Flash, or even create a website. And i'm about to choose the last one. My thought is to use your site as base to make my own. My problem is, i wanted to talk to you guys first so that you wouldn't consider that i'd be breaking any copyright, or whatever. And i wanted to ask you if i can go with this project onward. Best regards Frederico Ramos

The Instructables restaurant has appeared again in the Netherlands. This time it was outdoors for an event call Nuit Blanche. All of the food and furniture was made following Instructables so visitors could remake anything they saw. Table de Nuit Instructables Restaurant

I don't know about you guys, but on the right side of instructables there are pictures of other instructables. When someone posts a comment with a bunch of pictures, a lot of times you cant see a couple of them because they are blocked off by the pictures of other instructables on the right. Is there any way to fix this?

Hello This is my second year around here. :) I gathered around 200 favorite instructables. I was looking for a particular instructable & i had the surprise that i have to search in all of them. I think it would be nice in the future to search , in your favorite instructables section by title. Best regards, Skarfac3

As you all know, I manage the Nominating Instructables to be Featured Group. I've looked at so many instructables and the people who written them. There are so many instructables that are great and many new authors who write them. So I decided that on top of nominating instructables, starting today members can start nominating their new favorite new author and I will post nominations as part of the group. Start searching!
