assassin creed assassin knive...

Ne body have ne ideas on how to get my blade to attach to my wrist. my knife is like 3-4 inches (blade) ad like 6-8 inches long (so not very big but effective) it flips out like most pocket knives, so i was thinking that if i attatch it to a kind of wristband or somthing i can just flip it out and go assassin on every one (jk). my problem is i cant get it to attach and be strong, without blocking the blade. mabey i should use a parachute knive or somthing... ne help wiould be appreciated.

The Assassins Creed Hidden Dagger

Altair ,the protagonist of the game Assassins Creed has a hidden dagger attached to his arm which is obviously spring loaded, but he unsheaths it by pressing a button with his pinky and retracts it with the same. I wanted to know if it is possible to make such a contraption and how it would work just to satisfy my curiosity. There are a number of videos on youtube but most of them are gravity driven or do not give any explaination so I'd be obliged if someone helped me out with this.

i had a cool idea for hidden blade we need 3 springs (the third one is to keep the rope strained and to activate the second trigger  both springs have |dX |>0: dX1 > 0 ,dX2<0 (one spring for showing the blade, ione - for hiding , unstrained length the same) then man pulls the rope connected with  the coil and this releases trigger A it cause spring 1 to reduce its length the blade appear then man releases the coil and activates the second trigger (B), which cause the blade's hiding it is only scheme, in real life it will take more springs and parts

Assassin's Creed 1 & 2 Piece of Eden Apple

Everybody has been making their own hidden blades, but how about we try another item from the game? The Piece of Eden apples. They are glowing, futuristic spheres, which have the ability to control people's minds and cause intense Hallucinations. From seeing them, it looks like we can use the same basic Idea as this guy here with a Glowing box: https://www.instructables.com/id/Awesome-led-cube/ The Apple looks very similar in that the light emanates from behind the metal pieces, glowing at times, and you'd also need a way to turn it off and on, or for an added effect, but an electomagnetic switch inside instead of a pushbutton, where you can hold it and make it glow, but when you hand it off, it fades, or it only glows when placed on a base or something of the such. Just thought i'd get the ball rolling and see what we can come up with!

So i, like many others, have some strange obsession with Hidden Blades and really want one. However, i do not have the machines to make one from scratch like most of the walk thoughs on here, and since i do not have enough time at the moment, heres what i was wondering: Is there anyone out there with enough time, money, brains and skill to convert a shop bought hidden blade from spring loaded mechanism to the more realistic ring pull mechanism? I think it could potentially be quite a challenge, working around the already existing parts. I am talking about the blades on sites such as Forbidden Planet, and also i have found iconiccollectables.com selling them.

what is the best way to put an image on a blank guitar pick?

Anyone with metal skill looking for a good challenge, assassins creed blade?

What are the chances if i was able to post detailed blueprints, some one could make a fully mechinized assassins creed hidden blade? I will admit its slightly off, for logistical reasons ive had to add a pair of buttons. not electrical, mechanical. it also doesnt shoot right back in, but used properly no ones gonna knowtice you need to press it three times. I only have to deal with scale issues and finalize to blue prints with overlaping transparency paper. I wanted to know if anyone here would be willing to spend the time and effort on it. MOST INPORTANT! My design isnt a prop, its logicisticaly made to attack a full fleshed target many times without damage to its self. But the blade required edgeing in several directions( forwards and back) which may be dificult i dont work with matierial i dont know. ill probly be able to post pictures in about a week depending on time and the avalibility of a scanner.

How can I make a simple, but good, Assassin's Blade (Assassin's Creed)?

I've been playing Assassin's Creed, and I dig the hidden blade. I've checked the other 'how-to's' on this site, but they are hard to get the materials. The only good blade I made was a pvc tube with a high-powered spring in it, with a knife in it. But I wanna make one that closes and extends without springs, etc. Just a good ol' gravity powered one. But I want it to lock in place when extended/non-extended.

Simple, yet annoying mistake made by game developers

I have found a simple yet annoying mistake that game developers seem to love to make. Before I go on, lets get this straight: Parkour is a method of movement focused on moving around obstacles with speed and efficiency. Originally developed in France, the main purpose of the discipline is to teach participants how to move through their environment by vaulting, rolling, running, climbing and jumping Free running or freerunning is a form of urban acrobatics in which participants, known as free runners, use the city and rural landscape to perform movements through its structures. It incorporates efficient movements from parkour, and adds aesthetic vaults and other acrobatics, such as tricking and street stunts, creating an athletic and aesthetically pleasing way of moving Okay, so the main difference is that free running is pretty much parkour, except it involves flipping, tricking, and is just all around more free; hence FREE running.  But here's the thing I made this forum topic about. In the  Assassin's Creed series, you climb up buildings, jump from one to another, and that's pretty much it. Scaling, jumping, rolling, and that's all there is to it. Yet they call it free running. You don't flip or trick or anything, therefore isn't it parkour and not free running? Another game where this mistake is made is in Tony Hawk's American Wasteland--but there's one difference. In THAW, you do front flips, back flips, wall flips, you climb buildings, scale buildings, etc. So it should be called free running, right? Well tell that to the guys over at  Neversoft, because they call it parkour. Why? What is it about these developers that make them blindly call something one thing, when it's actually another? Do they even think of looking at sources? Have YOU seen this mistake in OTHER video games? Tell me your opinions on this!

Collection Comments Bug

I tried searching for this but nothing seemed to come up that applied so I'm not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this. It's also quite possible I'm missing the obvious and someone could point it out to me and make me feel very stupid. When I go to my "collections" page it tells me that I have two comments on my Assassin's Creed collection (https://www.instructables.com/id/Assassins-Creed-7/). When I go to the collection I don't see those comments anywhere. In fact, I don't even see a comment box where someone could have commented, nor do I see a button that might open that option. Am I missing something?

I am making my own hidden blade(using a letter opener), and my grandpa told me that if the 'bladed' or sharpened part is under 4", it is not considered a weapon. I am wondering if this is true. I don't plan on using this as a weapon, i am just wondering.

Need help with my hidden blade design. Answered

Okay, so I'm thinking of making a hidden blade (Assassins creed style) and i thought a copper tube with a smaller copper (or pvc) tube inside would do for the sliding mechanism. To make it not slide with everything I put a weak magnet on the bottom so it will only slide with some force. The braking system (so the blade wouldn't fall out) is a rubber ring at the top that will let the blade through but not the copper tube. The only thing I need help with is the system that will prevent the blade from going back in the outer-tube. So plz help me with a design for that. I don't care if I have to put a switch or something to get it back in, it doesn't need to be with 1 hand.

brass knuckles hidden blade?

Hi! I'm trying to make brass knuckles with a blade hidden inside it's for a cosplay. The idea is to have brass knuckles and at one point in the action of a button and out a knife inside the brass knuckles in a small compartment inside the fist. Wrist mounted...

I need some help. I need ideas on how I would make this. Basically I want to make a wrist-mounted pistol (fake).   If you've seen Assassins creed before, they use a hidden blade that is spring loaded. Also this was in Sherlock Holmes (professor). What I want is is to sit on my wrist and when I push a button behind the pistol, it ejects it forward so i can grab it. I apologize if I'm not being clear.

I think I will attempt an hidden blade

I've seen the builds on the internet using a drawer slider mechanism or one from a toolbox. They are cool, but I want to try one with a really powerful locking motion. So as I sat thinking on how to do this, I discovered that the answer was right in my hands. A clicky pen. It shoots out quickly, locks in place sturdy, and then shoots back in. I think that combining this "clicky pen" mechanism with the drawer slider mechanism, I could really do it. Any ideas/tips/criticism/comments on what to do here?

CO2 canister discharge for arm mounted gun? Answered

I'm looking to modify a simple airsoft gun for the purposes of making the needed weapon props for a assassins creed costume a friend of mine is working on. With that said, the arm cannon/crossbow thing (sorry, I sadly never played the game!) is one I'm playing with now, and I got to thinking about taking a simple CO2 powered airsoft gun, and modding the barrel to take softer projectiles, and to be mounted to someones wrist. The question being: would the discharge from a CO2 cartridge harm someones hand? There will be leather between gun and wrist, by the way.

Contest Rejection

I tried to enter my instructable for Altair's Sword in the Think Geek Sci-Fi contest and it got rejected. No reason was given and I was just told to check the entry rules, but I see nothing that would disqualify my instructable. Yes it's a sword, but it's from a game that is a sci-fi game about a guy who gets in a futuristic machine that uses his DNA to allow him to relive his ancestor's lives in the hope of figuring out where a mysterious alien artifact is to keep a secret society from taking over the world. They even feature several Assassin's Creed items on Think Geek, including a latex tomahawk. Could anyone let me know why it was rejected?

Text onto soda can

I'm trying to apply some text onto the material from a soda can, but I don't have the neatest handwriting and it's not even meant to be a normal font. What are some good ways to apply some guidance for me when I go to actually scribe onto the material? The end result I'm aiming for is a box similar to this one; https://www.instructables.com/id/Drink-Can-Tinwork/ but with the Sith Creed written in one of the Star Wars fonts, and most of the visible work being done by a dremel. I've thought about making a stencil, but I'm not sure I can reasonably cut some of those shapes at the necessary size. Toner transfer may be an option, but I am not too familiar with that process.

Why can consoles play games with so easily, but I need a ridiculously powerful computer to run the same game on pc?

How is it that consoles like the xbox 360 and PS3 can run games like GTA and Assassins Creed with less than a gig of ram, but my computer can barely run those, and its way better hardware than the console has. I understand that the console OS is less demanding than Windows, that much is obvious, but a difference of 4-8 GB of ram?! Surely Its not just the OS requirements! What makes the game so easy to run on consoles, but not on PC? and is there any way that I can make games run better on my computer without upgrading the hardware? Thanks

Lord of Aracana: quickest way to bring down monsters.

First off, this game is rated M  and contains content that is gory and violent. It may be found  offensive to some. So if there is even the slightest chance you might take offense, or there is someone with you who might be offended or should not be exsposed to such content, please do not continue and please exit now. OK, now we can start. Hey all you gamers out there! There has been alot of discussion about the fastest way to bring down master guradians in the game Lord of Arcana. This is a new game out recently this year developed by Access games inc. It is now one of my faves on the psp system, featuring full HD graphics, tons of weapon and armour choices, and also you can join parties of up to four people on a quest.  After playing and beating it myself I know most of the tricks and the litte things you can do to gain an edge in battle. First off, learn your monsters! Find out their weaknesses, Here-in lies the secret of defeating your foes quickly and efficiently. Observe how and when they like to attack, From what angle and with what speed. And most importantly, find their dead-zone. This is like their blindspot. this is the best place to attack from. Only the big monsters such as master guardians will have these. For example, the guardian Bahamut's blind spot is right beside his right leg behind his wing. Wait for him to lift his tail for a slam then attack! The best weapon to use on the master gurdians is a polearm. Use the highest level polearm you have, then equip the battle art "pile drive". Wait for the monster to attack, now evade! Quickly, charge piledrive to max, this should take about 2 seconds. Now! Spring upon the unholy beast with all the wrath of  Hyrodyn! This is also effective for reaching beasts that like to cower in the earth. Use this tactic to reach the master guardian Asjada while she is hiding below the surface of the ground. After a few hits from this she will pop out and will be past half dead. This will make quick work of any monster you will face, but be warned it can be risky when facing fast moving targets such as the Griffin, Drake shade, or Kirin. Well i hope this helps, and either way, send me a heads up if you tried this. If you couldn't get it to work don't be afraid to ask for more info. If it does work for you, great! Have fun, and remember this creed while inflicting that last blow upon thy wretched beast underfoot....Fear the dark, fear the killer, FEAR ME!

August 28th, 1963

On this day, a Baptist minister from Atlanta Georgia stood up in front of a quarter of a million people, and said this: I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity. But 100 years later, we must face the tragic fact that the Negro is still not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languishing in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land.And so we've come here today to dramatize an appalling condition. In a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a cheque. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness."It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of colour are concerned. Instead of honouring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad cheque which has come back marked "insufficient funds." But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. So we've come to cash this cheque - a cheque that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice. We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children.It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. 1963 is not an end, but a beginning. Those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual.There will be neither rest nor tranquillity in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: in the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.The marvellous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. They have come to realise that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom. We cannot walk alone. And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall march ahead. We cannot turn back. There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights: "When will you be satisfied?" We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. We can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. We cannot be satisfied as long as the Negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. We can never be satisfied as long as our children are stripped of their selfhood and robbed of their dignity by signs stating "For Whites Only". We cannot be satisfied and we will not be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. Some of you have come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive.Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed.Let us not wallow in the valley of despair. I say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed - we hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave-owners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood.I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state, sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character.I have a dream today!I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama little black boys and little black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.I have a dream today!I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.This is our hope. This is the faith that I will go back to the South with. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope.With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.This will be the day, this will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with a new meaning: "My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring." And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true.And so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania!Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado.Let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of California.But not only that.Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.Let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill of Mississippi, from every mountainside, let freedom ring!And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: "Free at last! Free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"
