I tried to post a new instructable at 11.30PM PST on May 9th 2010. While it is uploading the pics, it just erased everything that I typed for the steps. I had to redo the entrie thing and at 11.55PM PST on May 9th 2010 I re-submitted the new instructable, for the paper cup contest. Now the site threw up saying that it cannot accept the instructable since deadline has crossed. According to the rules, the site should be able to accept entries till 11.59PM PST. It was so frustrating to see that my instructable cannot be posted after spending so many hours of hardwork..

The links are not working, extra characters are in it, and the formating has changed. I was able to re-load most of it, but some of the formatting won't change. (eg. before I could enter links like this.. [http://www.whereever.com This is the link] and it would work - now it doesn't The formatting of the titles won't stay a I put it. It is on a couple of lines in the instructable, but ok on my edit page. What is happening?

When authoring an instructable, it says you can embed a github repo. I tried all the different URLs I could think of, but none of them worked in the preview. I ended up just linking to the code repo instead of embedding it. How the heck does one go about embedding the code directly? I don't want to have a second place to maintain the code, and it seems like embedding it should be fairly simple, but I must be missing something.

A cordial greeting to the whole community; I would like to ask if there is a standard formula to alert the who is reading to pay attention to the dangers of electric current while you perform a job and at the same time to arise from any liability from damage caused by an incorrect or incomplete understanding of instructions step by step. thank for help

No matter how the pics lay out in other programs, they all present landscape style. I don't want to post pics sideways! There's got to be a way because I see some in other instructables... Help?

I'm going to be making a 2 part instructable, where the first instructable can be branched off and help people make other instructables, and my second instructable is to make an "attachment" for my first instructable" Would the 2 be counted as 1? Or would the 2nd instructable be considered "incomplete".

I posted an Instructable 2 days ago, and it's not appearing on the recent instructables list or in the search. Any idea why is that? has any body had the same problem? This is my instructable. DIY Multimedia LED Projector (video manual)

I'm not sure what's going on, but... I submitted an Instructable on 30 June. It was subsequently featured in the technology section. A few hours ago, I noticed a new draft of that Instructable, all in Spanish. The Spanish version of the Instructable was just published a few minutes ago. I neither created the draft nor published the Spanish Instructable. Was the original Instructable translated by an administrator? Is this normal?

If you have revised a project that you wrote an Instructable for, is it common practice to update the instructable or write a new one? My changes are not really full 2.0 level, but they are a significant new step. I have an Arduino based project, and I've pulled out the relatively expensive Arduino and replaced it with a dollar ATtiny85.
