My Super Mario 64 DS is really weird. First it got it and it was totally fine. The next day my file corrupted ( had problems) and lost all my data! Then i started another file and that did the same thing! Then i started ANOTHER file and still! Then i didn't play it for 2-3 weeks and Poof! my original file is back. WTF?

Sprite Stitch is a neat blog devoted to turning classic video game scenes and characters into cross-stitch patterns. Since that just means gridding them out and picking suitable colors, it's also a great resource for all sorts of projects: knitting, mosaics, or even LED art. Who doesn't want a Pac-Man scarf, a Super Mario Brothers tiled shower, or a glowing wall of Space Invaders?Bookmark this one for future use. I'll be referencing it when we redo our bathrooms.

I have been thinking about designing a game. here are some ideas I've been kicking around: Post-apocalyptic themed RPG: Based loosely on Discovery's new series, The Colony, you would play a character and experience his struggles to survive a cruel and lawless world. Final fantasy styled game. Zelda Platformer: It would incorporate the 'hoppy-jumpy' gameplay of the Mario Bros. Platform games with the dungeon-questing and puzzle-solving of the Legend of Zelda Titles. Mario RTS: Simply combine the gameplay of C&C with the themes of the Mario Brothers. nothing more to say. I am using Game Maker 7 Lite. Thoughts and suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

Hello? What happened? The PSP and DSi are all well and good but in my mind GBA games own them all! Sure, most are 2D and they cannot compete graphically with it's bigger cousins, but I would own my Gameboy Micro over a DS anyday (and I can say this genuinley because I had enough money to buy either a DS lite or a Gameboy micro and I chose the micro). I say this because compare a Sonic advance game to a Sonic Rush game. From a neutral perspective I found Sonic advance much more enjoyable than the DS version: It is simple (only 1 screen to focus on!) and none of these faffy side missions. And I would rather play SMB advance 3 than play some downgraded NFS for PSP. And let's not forget the biggest advantage of the GBM: PORTABILITY! It is the only true pcket console.

Hi all, For the past 5 years, yes K'nex has been terrible with all the micro bricks and stuff and it being compatible with LEGOs. And you think that they wouldn't do anymore damage by promoting these sets, would you? I mean the amount of bad feedback they get is off the scale. AND NOW, they are releasing TitanFall Sets and more Mario sets and Plants vs Zombies <----- Bound to fail. Do K'nex even take into account the feedback from their models and how overpriced they are? source - http://www.vg247.com/2014/02/21/titanfall-mario-and-plants-vs-zombies-knex-sets-revealed/ For those who don't know, TitanFall is a Xbox One game to be released out in March/April. The Beta is currently out. What are your thoughts and opinions?

Instructables' Artist-in-Residence Mario Caicedo-Langer is pretty hands-on. He can make a robot out of anything, but was intrigued by the 123D suite of apps. I asked him to document his experience here... http://blog.123dapp.com/2013/04/transformational-experience-for-instructables-artist-in-residence It's pretty cool - the next step is printing the robot in one print, while still having moveable joints.

So I posted this instructable https://www.instructables.com/id/Mario-Mushroom-T-shirt-Recon/ 24 hours ago and I think it just showed up on the site. I still can't find it in recent at all, so I'm not sure if it's fully there yet. I know it probably just got stuck in the filters. So my question is; is there any reason it got stuck? Like is there something I can do to help my future instructables not to get stuck? Any feedback is welcome! Thanks!

BOUNCEBOUNCEBOUNCE [download] BOUNCE is an original 2D platform style game built in Java. The game incorporates game elements like destructible terrain, 3rd person shooting, and puzzles, to provide an experience similar to such games as Mario and Minecraft. You, a lone circle in a world of squares, must make your way through 50 levels to save the galaxy from destruction. Along the way, you'll face laser shooting robots, parkour puzzles, and fire-breathing dragons. More information available at http://www.java-gaming.org/topics/iconified/27023/view.html.

Mega Man 9 is back! A classic nintendo game is back on the wii. This great game has been going through some rough times with newer versions going 3D and ruining the game play. What ever happened to side scrolling video games? These platform games may be something that many people haven't seen in years, but it's hard to deny their appeal with The original Mario leading the way in game sales with over 40 million sold. If you haven't seen it yet check out this trailer for this awesome game yet, here it is: `-fan tattoo via: mega tattoo

Hi, while working at this one https://www.instructables.com/id/Waveshare-EPaper-and-a-RaspberryPi I experienced some clitches in the editor. 1. Code sections (formated with the paragraph "Code") are loaded in the editor including the HTML formating tags etc. When saving this they apear in the text as well, so the formating within the code section is destroyed every time. Browser = Chrome 60.3312... all my Safaris On an up to date iPad the complete page is shown as HTML within the editor, I did not try to save it there Feature Requests 2. More Header styles 3. insert a table ? User experience suffers a bit :-( Cheers Mario

I would really like to get a Nintendo DS. I do have one question though; how well do NES and SNES emulators work on the DS? I ask this because my friend recently got an R4 card which he uses to play such emulators on his DS. When he plays games like Super Metroid and Super Mario Brothers 3, the graphics are extremely choppy and in some cases unplayable. It is not just those roms either, the DS seems to have trouble with nearly all of the emulator games. Is there a way to fix this? I would really appreciate anyone who can help answer either of my questions.

Hey guys, I recently pulled out my N64 and played Mario Kart 64 for some old-time fun. It was a rush.Anyways, I saw a video on youtube of someone who hooked up their N64 controller to their PC, and all the buttons worked. Now I recently saw an instructable on something similar to this:https://www.instructables.com/id/SNES-to-Parallel-Port/But I'm not sure if that same method would work or not.I also found this: http://arcadecontrols.com/Mirrors/emulatronia/n64pad/index.htmWhich is pretty much what I'm looking for, but I want to see if there's another way that doesn't involve the creation of a circuit with IC Chips.Anyone know? THanks.

Scope this cool quilt from Etsy maker CarolinaPatchworks. If you've got the $450 to shell out for this bad boy, you're probably still living in your parent's basement and could use something to keep you warm while you reminisce about saving the princess from the angry monkey 20 years ago on your Nintendo, probably in that same basement.Let's be honest, if you love 80s pop culture and clever, crafty re-creations of your childhood memories ( and obviously I DO ), it doesn't get any better than this.Or does it?Show us what you come up with! In rough chronological order, here's the best of Austin Maker Faire from Instructables perspective:Hanging out with Bilal for the whole weekend.Seeing Alexis and NublabsChecking out a bag made from old jeans complete with Instructables patch.Watching big stacks of The Best of Instructables and people buying them.Meeting Sfeine (and a bunch of other members, I didn't take photos of!).Hearing ArcAttack play the Imperial Match, Super Mario Bros., and Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Giant Tesla Coils.Writing ridiculous notes all over our booth.Making the squeamish literally jump with fright when they noticed Mouse Mouse.Massaging and being massaged by Bilal to play a fighting game with the Massage Me Jacket.Convincing RocketScientist2015 to work the booth, so I could have a break.
