Yay! The mini cannon is back! Youtube user 43287633 (T. Shamir) has returned with more footage of destroying things around the house with a tiny cannon.

This video by YouTube user 43287633 shows off the abilities of a tiny custom cannon. Check it out to see this thing take on soda cans, glasses, balloons, and more. Unfortunately, there's no other information about this one, but I do love the fact that the firing range is the creator's own desk. That's some serious confidence in the reliability of the cannon. via Neatorama

I was sitting here today wondering how could an electric car with a gas generator possibly be useful, then it hit me. I could add a gas powered generator to an RC car to give it the ability to fill up and run again without the need to charge a battery. The idea was brilliant so I went out looking for a platform to use. I decided on a traxxas E-Maxx. It has a lot of space to build on, and it is a pretty awesome truck. I decided I would leave the batteries in the equation and they would be sustained by the generator. Now, what on EARTH DO I USE FOR A GENERATOR that doesn't cost as much as the motor itself.

My headlights have stopped working - main beam is OK, sidelights are OK, normal dipped beam is out. Since both sides went at once, I'm assuming its a fuse. However, there are 24 fuses in the fuse box, none labelled with what they serve, and the Haynes manual simply gives them numbers. I'm being lazy - to save me going through them one by one, does anybody know which fuse is the one I need to change? (Rover Mini Mayfair, 1275cc, 1995)

Hello! I'm working on a homemade mini particle accelerator from stuff in like hardware stores and thrift stores. I was wondering if someone could give me a definition of a particle accelerator and their hazzards? Also the only thing that I would need to buy off eBay is a some sort of detector for electrons. Heres a list of supplies: concrete, CRT Monitor, wood, lots of thin copper wire (for the electromagnets), a electron detector, and a power supply. It would be a circular accelerator too. Any ideas or info is welcome! PM me or just comment below!

I'm trying to get composite out from my PowerMac G3 (B&W;). All it has is vga. Can I take a vga monitor cable (cut the end off) and take my "mini-vga to composite adapter" (from an old iBook which I no longer have) and cut the mini-vga end off and just connect the appropriate wires? I'm not really sure of a few of them. Here are the links to the Wikipedia entries (with pinouts):Mini-VGAVGAThanks for any help!Danny

I am considering making a mini branding iron (about 3/4" square) out of brass with my initial to brand my work. I have some brass which I hope to transfer my initial on and then cut with a rotary tool. First I have to transfer the pattern, and thinking of using my ink jet printer and some acetone, and then proceeding to cut away with my rotary tool. Do anyone have any suggestions or tips? Thanks

I had an idea other day concerning harmonica. Why couldn't one take a harmonica, run air tubing from an air source, one tube to each hole of the harmonica, use some sort of valves that can be triggeered by a keyboard, Voila, mini organ. I am not interested in doing this myself but I think it could be pretty cool. For one thing I think it would make a harmonica capable of playing multi note chords. Some that would be impossible to play by mouth.

Is it possible to get a TINY, cheap electric valve? The idea is for a 3D printer that uses a huge array of tiny needles, each of which acts as an extruder, to 3D print stuff in seconds instead of hours. My question is, could I use a tiny valve over each needle to allow or stop plastic? or would that be impractical/impossible?

Hello, I am building a Vaporizer in Steam Punk style! It has now become a rather advanced project... And I want to include a little heater instead of using a Lighter to Evaporate the oils in the Weed. It is really hard to find a tiny battery driven heater... I found this one: http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/486719295/ceramic_heater.html But I would have to order 2000 -_- Not really an option. The best solution so far was on this site actually.. https://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a-battery-powered-soldering-iron/ Just not sure it has the right length for my design.. I would prefer a Flat Heating element and then the Weed is placed inside a small Iron Box on Top. Also, I dunno about the hazards of that soldering iron. Any ideas? A Wire and a battery and resistance? Edit: Also found something like this: http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/overview/0506030/Heizelemente;jsessionid=DB600645BCB22DBD20445E3E530EB879.ASTPCCP9

Womble is a 1995...19,000 miles on the clock...British Racing Green...1275cc...MINI MAYFAIR!!!Yes, folks, it has finally happened. I have my Mini. Kitewife spotted him in the local free paper last night, I went to see him this afternoon, took a test drive, and I now have sore cheeks from all the grinning.I'll be taking the cash round on Wednesday or Thursday, bank allowing, and driving away in the most perfect car on the planet.Full service history, four speed box, no servos on the brakes, or the steering. Single-point injection engine, automatic choke, it is absolutely gorgeous...EDITHere he is! I've tweaked the picture a little - it was a 2-second exposure under street lighting, with the camera balanced on a wall. He's really greener than that.

Toy inventor John Austin released Mini Weapons of Mass Destruction 2 (Chicago Review Press) this past October. This awesome sequel to the Mini Weapons series includes over 30 new mini weapons with which to terrorize your office with. Here's an excerpt from the press release: "All the projects in Mini Weapons of Mass Destruction 2 are built from inexpensive, commonly kept items: binder clips, playing cards, rubber bands, markers, clothespins and discarded packaging materials. The projects - modeled after real-life gadgetry - range from "sidearms" and "weapons in disguise" to "villain mini weapons" and "surveillance and intel" and cost mere pennies to assemble. This easy-to-follow primer also features plans to construct periscopes, bionic ears, grappling hooks and code wheels. plus, each project includes a supply and tool list, italicized safety tips and step-by-step instructions supplemented by clearly marked, illustrative diagrams" I managed to get my hands on a copy and made the Grappling Hook Gun; the project was easy to follow and my project came together in under 30 minutes (including the time it took to snap a few pictures). My grappling hook went about 20 feet and I'm sure it could travel further with a few minor tweaks! So if you're reading this while sitting bored at your desk, take a look around you. If you're surrounded by un-used rubber bands, pen caps, and markers, perhaps it's time for you to assemble your own office supply arsenal! For Authors outside Canada, USA, UK and Australia The first 3 comments left here with a picture of your own version of an office supplies mini weapon of any type will receive a free copy of this book! All books have been claimed!
