Our grade school is hosting a mother/son night in March. Our theme is sports and movies. This year the kids will visit 10-12 booths. I have been assigned to do 2. The creative side of me is excited while the other, less appealing side of me says...just survive. I need ideas how to make it work. I was appointed to do a Nerf booth and a another one- which I think they decided on cupstackers. (heard of those?) With Nerf, I don't have anything specific as to what to do in the booth only that I should plan to be there. Last year they shot the guns at jungle animals, getting points for each successful hit. Because of the movie theme with sports, I was hoping to combine a movie with the sports, as many of the booths already have it. Fishing booth has Finding Nemo and so on. I would love to do something with Harry Potter and quidditch. Or How to Train your Dragon. ~ ideas, thoughts?

Hello, I recently played some earthbound, and found it to be fantastic. So, I know there are some hardcore EB* fans out there, just gonna say, I'm not one of them. So, really I made this for people to chat about EB and discuss problems they have in the game. So, say,"Fuzzy pickles"! *EarthBound

Hi, people! My dog, Dale (named after Dale Evans) has had a litter of puppies in a cat/dog house! There is a sad part: All but one died because of the cold winter. That one that survived was the runt of the litter. That runt is now a chunk, because she has all the milk to her self, and she is a little bundle of cuteness! We named her Bailey..... anywho, moving right along, does anybody have a recipie for dog treats-for a nursing mother dog? I can't give them to Bailey because she is only 3 weeks old today (March 6, 2012, Born Feb. 21, 2012) and not weaned. Thanks! I might put a picture of them together.

Before you vote... Voting begins in less than an hour, and all the entries look great. But before you vote, I encourage everyone to remember the purpose of this contest. To make a gift for our deserving moms. While some of the entries are really awesome instructables and good examples of sewing, they are not exactly something I would give my mom as a gift. Remember the spirit of the contest, and get out there and vote!

For those who might not know it, or care ;-) Mother Earth News has an archive of DIY projects online. And don't just think it's a bunch of hippie green projects because of the source, check out this project or this. The only down side is that in many cases the diagrams are not available, but that just frees you to use your own methods.

There are several of the football shaped items. They seems to hold thread. There is a metal bar in the crescent depression on the other object. When depressed, a tiny hook pops out of a hole on the other side. Also, the metal inside the two small notches on the hook side give in when pushed. Anyone know how these tools are used?

My mother uses Hotmail (Windows, IE), and is having an issue with formatting. Whilst typing an email, the formatting buttons (bold, underline etc) do not all work. They are visible, and if you hover the cursor over them they will tell you what they should do, but nothing actually happens. Worse (for her), the emoticon button isn't working either. Click on it, and the selection of emoticons appears, but none will work. Does anybody have a fix that can be described over the phone to a woman near the end of her seventh decade, who refers to the cursor as "the blinky thing", and who has to keep the instructions for cutting and pasting written down beside her computer?

I have a computer that was having a lot of problems so I tried to reinstall windows XP. Due to several problems I pulled the HD and installed it in a external case and formatted the drive and reinstalled it. tried to load windows again but it took over a day for the files to copy over. I thought it was a bad HD so I put in a new HD and had the same problem. However once it was installed the video resolution could not be adjusted. I thought this was a problem with my reinstall disk so I overwrote everything with Ubuntu and had the same slow loading. Now Ubuntu starts to load but then it takes a very long time to boot and then everything moves slowly (for example I move the mouse and about 15 seconds later the screen registers the change). any ideas as to what is happening?

So i was wondering say i have a 250W oem power supply and I am replacing it with a 850W power supply would this harm my mother board. Is there a way to tell what my mother board maximum amount of wattage is or will my mother board use only what it needs for the hardware I am almost certain its the latter but i am having a hard time finding info on this and want to be sure before i try anything. Thanks in advanced
