I have a few good ideas for this contest, one involves a LOT of hot glue :D My mate has that 1st prize sonos sound system in his house and i must say its really really really cool... Oh and below is a rock that looks like a dragon/dinosaur egg of sorts, i found it on a beach in wales

cutout tool (yay or nay)

I found drill bits that I can use on a drill (duh) that can cut wood sideways, like a cutout tool. would this be a good cutout tool alternative? or should I just get a cutout tool?

Pancake crane from a pancake master

Pancakes are awesome just being their lovely fluffy selves, but others have found that they can also be a great way to express yourself as well. Christmas list!!!! HELP ASAP!

OKOKOKO, so all I have on my christmas list is a drumset. I know I'm getting that, but my dad said he saved up enough money for some little stuff with my drumset. I want coins for my coin collection but everything is too expensive!!! Does anyone know of any interesting online coin stores with cheap products? It would help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be at Instructables HQ in less than a week. :D

The countdown begins! It snuck (or sneaked, if you prefer) up on me. :P And now the race is on to finish the plushie so that we can travel across the country together. I'm going to need a travel companion. The trips there and back will be pretty long. And I need to figure out how much sewing stuff I can bring with me without sacrificing room for clothes, hahaha. 6 days!! (5 more days of work, even less! YES!)

What no one knows about me is that I am actually very nerdy. I know of 2 awesome math problems. I want you to figure them out and why they are so interesting What is 111,111,111 x 111,111,111? Is there anything special about this sequence? What is it called? 0 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55 89 144 233 377 610 987 1597 2584 , etc. The second one is very tricky, so I will just say, only about the first 10 numbers are important.

Are you growing anything right now? Yay gardening!

I'm curious if any of you have a little mini garden (or, if you're lucky, a large garden!) going at the moment. :) I have four tomato plants that I've grown from seed (I see some blooms!), some oregano, a half eaten bush of catnip, and a small Anaheim pepper plant. I want to get more plants going, but since I live in an apartment with two nosy kitties, I do better keeping my plants outside. I just have a little porch outside that I can put my plants on. I still have room on it, but I figure it's best to not get carried away. ;) Oh, and post pictures if you have them!

bicycle, bicycle trailer, pram and fortunate events...yay...

I will try and get some photos but alas, I have only a web camera. We had a German guy live with us for a 14 months and he left me his bicycle, and for NZ$50 which was great it has 30 gears, he left us 2 months ago. I picked up a pram and a little thing like a hamper trolley with no basket on it from a rubbish pile during an inorganic rubbish collection and the pram had single hooked handles. I picked up some galvanized tubing from a rubbish bin...I asked the worksite foreman could I look through the rubbish bin 9 moonths ago...I think thieves dump stuff in worksite rubbish bins...um, I came to Instructibles after browsing computer forums for 4 years...yay, I am here...and I saw the articles about the bicycle trailers and realized I had a bicycle. I can add so put 2 and 2 together and came up with 1 1/2 so went to work and built a bicycle trailer. It took me 2 hours maybe 3 and it works great. I am so pleased, I have an idea to offer computer and computer peripherial cleaning as a local service and the bicycle trailer may come in hady for pickups and deliverys and I have already practiced using the trailer to transport repaired LCD monitors to the PostShop after I repaired them, and how lucky I was for to get them repaired, phew...I am so happy...and...Jesus loves me...or from what I remember of Him he loves me...

Sound from computer TO midi w/ speakers?

I picked up guitar again, and found that my MIDI keyboard has a good set of speakers. I have a MIDI to USB cable currently, as well as some 1/4" and 3.5 mm jack cables. The ports on the back of the keyboard are Sustain, Headphones in,  Midi In/Out, and power supply. Computer has USB of course, mic in, and headphone out. This is my last resort, as there are no other good speakers that I can use. I want the sound live if possible, too. I'm totally stumped. Even vague answers will help.

Does anyone know how to make/where i can buy a hit and miss engine?

I dont have a cnc or a laser cutter, but i would like to make one, and my friends dad might be able to make one (hes a machinist) but i dont know where to find plans for free. Where would i be able to buy one, that would be easer.

Is there a USB link connector that works with a DSi?
