Adding I'bles to the Physics Group Answered

Plasmana and I have been going through the Instructables archives and adding appropriate I'bles to the Physics Group. If you have or find ones you think are appropriately, please help us out.

It's called "paying attention" - if you read your email alerts, they have all the formatting in plain text form.

Rssssssp :P I don't get email alerts. I turned them off because I was tired of getting 6500 a day.

. I have Messages, Comments, and Subscriptions all set to once-a-day. I get, at most, two e-mails per day from Robot. One with the forum msgs and another if I get any PMs. If I had any Subscriptions, I guess I'd get a third e-mail.

Yup - One for comments, one for messages, one for "alerts" (that's you, that is, Nacho!).

<whooshing sound...> Grammar Police powers....activate!

But...that's just wrong :-/ The name of the Web site is spelled "instructable." If you are dropping letters out of the middle, you replace them with an apostrophe. If you're dropping letters from the beginning (and I've seen people write 'ible), then the word should be " 'able".

<cue inspriational music, heavy on the horns...>

I shall retain my excessive pedantisms in the face of all challengers!

"Ible" is now a word in its own right. The etymology is clear, and an American has no place criticising tiny changes in spelling...

So, yah, boo to you.

Stamps foot very quietly.

Not so. As Adrian said, you can add any I'ble you're looking at to any Group to which you are a member. If the Group is moderated, then the moderator may have to "approve" the addition before it happens. I should know, I just went through every single "Science" I'ble and added several dozen to Physics. G*d, these talks are boring...

Oh, noooo! Hopefully no offense was taken. I'm attending my experiment's quarterly Collaboration Meeting this week. At the time I wrote that, I was sitting in one of the parallel sessions....

I know, I was just kidding, I knew what you meant. I figured you must be in some type of boring talk situation. I really doubt Skate took it the wrong way- hejokes a lot, too. :-)
