Adhesive glue, Suggestion required Answered

I need some suggestions to firmly stick plastic with concrete, the bond should be really strong, as the concrete is of 10 Kgs and is placed over a large plastic drum and the system will vibrate violently. I tried Super Glue but it did not work.

Epoxy or, Polyurethane construction adhesive.

If these won't work, nothing will.

Can you send a picture?

What exactly is being stuck to what?

Is it a concrete block hanging from the plastic, the plastic hanging from the concrete, the concrete standing on the plastic...

If your arrangement is what I think it is (a block standing on an up-turned plastic drum), then I would not use glue at all. I would use metal straps around the block, fastened to the drum with bolts through the plastic, reinforced on the inside of the drum with a metal plate.

Even better, I would put bolts through the drum, reinforced again by a plate on the inside of the drum, and a plate on the outside of the drum, and then cast the concrete block directly in place, around the bolts and plate on the outside of the drum.

Hopefully this sketch makes it clearer:

If ABS then you can try ABS juice to soak into the conrete.
Once cured it should be possible to use acetone to weld some more ABS onto the surface.
In any case I would not trust glue to hold concrete in the air.
It is a safety thing and proper dyna bolts or concrete anchors should be used.

You not likely to get a glue that will meet your specification. Although you don't identify the plastic I think your only hope for a very strong shake proof bond is some kind of mechanical latch or bolt.

Did you find concrete adhered to the Super Glue? Adhesives may bond well to concrete but concrete doesn’t bond well to itself. It may be that you will need to look at an alternative to the concrete (e.g. a polymer concrete or steel). Even through bolting might not work well with violent vibrations.

If the plastic released from the Super Glue, we will need to know what type of plastic you are using.
